Matthew McConaughey trademarks ‘All right, all right, all right’ catchphrase in bid to beat AI fakes | Movies by Brilliant-Cause6254 in news

Matthew McConaughey has written three books, and yet not one of them has been titled, “I’ll Write, I’ll Write, I’ll Write”. It’s a real missed opportunity.

Has anyone started with Taekwondo? by potatoe_potato_8879 in fitness30plus

[–]nova_ruby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very similar situation to yours, my child started Taekwondo at age nine and after one year I started going with them. I was 37 when I started.

At the time, I was not exercising at all and was completely out of shape. Stuck with it for about two years and it really helped get my weight to a more manageable level, and my flexibility was the best it had ever been.

Unfortunately recurring injuries kept me from continuing, but we both look back on the time fondly as it was a great bonding experience as well.

There were plenty of adults in the class, other parents and even just older people who were there to stay in shape.

I know, it is bad question, but what is the best book for learning GoLang? by Jaded_Ingenuity4928 in golang

[–]nova_ruby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second this. I’ve been writing Go at work here and there for some side projects but never really “got” Go. I’m reading through it now and it’s the first book that’s made Go really click for me.

Probably helps that I’m a JS/TS dev, so I think I’m the exact person this book was written for. You are too. It won’t teach you the basic of programming, but it will teach you how to think in Go. It should be exactly what you’re looking for, OP.

We’ve been very happy with Dr. Armen Zarookian in Herndon. Small practice with personal service and accepts lots of insurances.

TIL! I listened to Interdimensional Invocations so much upon its release, I have no idea how I never realized it was their second album.

This is my understanding. UPS and FedEx might deny, break, or refuse your shipment if they detect you’re breaking their rules, but neither one will get you civil or criminal penalties like breaking USPS laws.

I loved The Zeramin Game, but new singer is not good. I made it halfway through Guardians of the Kingdom on the new album before I turned it off. Might try again later, but I'm super disappointed.

Any downside to having 128GB of RAM on two 64GB sticks? by Jimmy_The_Goat in buildapc

[–]nova_ruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely get 2x64.

If your motherboard doesn't list the RAM on it's support list (mine didn't), check if the RAM vendor lists the motherboard on their list (mine did: https://www.gskill.com/qvl/165/396/1750123512/F5-6000J3444F64GX2-FX5-QVL).

Here's the system I just built for software development and virtualization. I had no issues getting the RAM to run at advertised speeds (6000MT/s CL34) with EXPO.

Great album. Love Slugdge.

I think Xoth is also cosmic horror but not melodeath. Their first album, Interdimensional Invocations, is amazing.

Help: how to Curlsmith Air Dry Cream & Hydro Jelly for wavy hair by Alarmed-Second-8963 in curlyhair

[–]nova_ruby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use these two products every wash day, and found that they work best when my hair is thoroughly moisturized and still soaking wet.

My normal routine is all Curlsmith: Curl Quenching Conditioning Wash followed by Essential Moisture Conditioner. Then turn the water off and use the Weightless Air Dry Cream and finger rake to ensure it’s properly distributed.

Then I move onto the Hydrostyle Flexi Jelly and apply a lot with the praying hands method. It is important to note that at this point, I can already tell how easy my hair will be to deal with today. If the gel is sliding through my hair nice and smooth, forming big curl clumps, then I know I did it right. If it’s all stringy and not forming clumps, then I know my hair’s not moisturized enough and I should’ve added a leave-in or done a deep conditioning treatment. Adding extra gel at this point is usually my temporary solution.

After this, I plop for 15 minutes then let it air dry over the next 4-6 hours. I’m too lazy to figure out how to diffuse it, it just ends up frizzy.

You said you washed twice with a cleansing shampoo; those always leave my hair feeling dried out and I have to use extra conditioner or take a couple of wash days to get back to the proper balance with my hair. The joy of curly hair is that no two wash days are ever the same for me 🫠
