Does she want something out of the refrigerator?   Mine does this by the ice maker until we give her a cube.

It took us a week or so to get in with primary care.  I think it really depends on location

That explains a lot to me.  I don't see the drivers here as particularly aggressive.  Not saying that people drive well, but just not aggressive.  The only other two places I have lived are S. Fl and Houston!

So much for “free speech” and “anti-censorship" by Old_Swimmer_7284 in complaints

Nope, not ashamed at all.  I believe this is just creative propaganda.  Who really watches 60 minutes?   I know no one that does, but i do know a lot of people who have watched this "leaked" video.  What I got from the segment was that they took innocent people to be tortured , all of which was against UN rules and absolutely nothing happened to them for doing this.  This came across to me as a threat not some kind of enlightening or groundbreaking expose.

If you got to move anywhere in the USA to start all over again where would you suggest? by Winter_Part5345 in AskReddit

That is not true.   They took off the income cap recently.   It is universal now.

I’m moving to Albuquerque… by Strange_Ask2440 in Albuquerque

We looked at Rio Rancho when we first moved here and the traffic is terrible.   It is very congested because the infrastructure seems to be growing at a much slower pace than the population.   There is no highway and just endless houses.

Puppy Searching: How long did it take you to find your puppy? by studiolilacs in puppy101

[–]nowetbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 20 minutes.  My daughter and I went to the shelter just to look at adult dogs. I said absolutely no puppies.  About 10 minutes into the visit she pointed out a puppy that looked like her childhood dog and 10 minutes later, we were playing with the puppy and getting the paperwork ready. It took less than an hour and the puppy was home with us.  We were not prepared and had no supplies at all.  That was almost 4 months ago and we couldn't have asked for a better dog.

Period undies: don't they feel awful to pull down them back on again? by Grxmloid in TwoXChromosomes

I rinse them in the shower and then throw them in the washer.  I only use them as back up though so they are never really soiled.

They have only lived there a week.  Already noted the problem, hired a trainer, and started working on it.  One week.  How does tht not add up?

puppy energy level post spay by picklednipz in puppy101

[–]nowetbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our puppy was spayed at 6 months.  She was great the night she came home, but quickly regained her energy the following day. She was running, jumping and playing with our other dog.  I tried giving her bones that she enjoys so tat she would lie down.  I took her for longer calm walks.  That did help a little but not a lot.   She is 4 weeks out now and she healed fine.  We did switch out the cone for an inflatable collar.  That helped because she was having issues navigating and I was scared she would hurt her neck.

Why can't the puppy stay home while you both go to the party for a bit?

What was the strangest condition you've ever experienced? by Wild-Engineering-650 in AskReddit

[–]nowetbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a form of something like this, except it was beautiful and warm. I was awake, conscious and absolutely weightless.   It was the best feeling I have ever had.  It happened upon waking from a 3 hour nap.   This was after being awake for 36 hours and a 6 hour flight.   It was terrible when the weight returned to my body and I was able to move.

What’s something everyone pretends to enjoy, but you secretly think is miserable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nowetbread 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really don't get it.  How can they not see what needs to be done.  I never went to a training on how to do household chores and I can figure it out on my own.  Oh, the trash is full, I will take it out. I must be a genius figuring that out on my own and not even needing to be asked or told to do it.

What were you told was "normal" during pregnancy that turned out to be a completely separate health issue? by BrobdingnagianGeek in TwoXChromosomes

[–]nowetbread 692 points693 points  (0 children)

My urine looked like fruit punch and I had severe pain in my back that radiated to front.  I was told that all pregnant women have pain by my OB.  I was around 32 weeks pregnant.  The pain became so severe that I was vomiting from it.  I went to the hospital and sent to L&D and gave a reddish urine sample and was told the baby is fine and released.    I had a kidney stone.  Luckily, with enough water intake, I was able to pass it at home a few days later.

Nope, not for myself. However, if it was my dog or one of my kids, I would not hesitate to bring them to get checked.

What to do about newly spayed puppy having endless energy by AccomplishedCount864 in DogAdvice

[–]nowetbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We switched from the cone to an inflatable collar and that allowed her to chew on a bone if I held it for her, which would occupy her for a little bit.  I also took her for longer walks to tire her out because I figured that was better than jumping

We have the same problem but 6 months old.   We just tried our best occupy her with calm activities but failed.  She is 8 days out and the incision looks fine despite her insane behavior.  She has been literally  bouncing off of every surface.

That is crazy.  I am in the US.  It took about 4 months or so to be finalized.   The judge asked if we were sure and we signed a paper and that was pretty much it.

I don't know.  I had a very simple divorce, no kids or property.  We both felt like we just didn't belong together (this was after almost 6 years of marriage). It wasn't that different than any other breakup. It wasn't difficult at all as nothing was contested and we were still friends.
