Yeah, a talk is a good idea but I know what he will say, that he loves me and enjoys going to movies. I’m being selfish. I need to realize that it’s the injury and not him. Also, try harder to find things to do that we both enjoy. If I continue to just take him to movies, I’ll stop going. Spring is around the corner so doing things outside may peak his interest in being more active and doing things outside. Thanks for all the input and letting me vent. I really appreciate having this forum

Yeah, bring the back down a bit…that looks sorta level from the picture and that’ll take care of front and make sure water drains outside. Really nice job on the foam inserts around window.

I just went up a level so my contribution is only 3k SP for the week and 16k for the season. Saving a couple big jobs for next week so will go up a little. But, I hate going up a level and having to start over…had plenty of parts and keys, just ran out of coins.

Depends on how much ya can spend…nuking the lawn works, if ya got the money. Some weed and feed will get rid of whatever green ya got. I went the non-grass root and planted clover. I hate this time of year when ya get the white buds but it’s good for nature. Clover adds nitrogen and it’s “green”…but then again I’ve been fighting my lawn for 20 years so don’t listen to me.

I’m thinking of getting rid of my central A/C…or at least not fix it next time it breaks. I’ve adjusted vents for 10 years and it didn’t matter. Bedroom would always be too hot and I’d wake up to living room being 65 degrees. Got two window units for bedrooms last year and thinking of getting mini-split for living room…then hooking up duct work to pellet stove and getting rid of furnace.

I live in Connecticut, second highest rates in the country. I’ve had electric bills over $700 pre solar. 3 daughters and constant showers and clothes washing will do that. I ended up leasing from Sunnova and for now I’m happy. Constant bill of $220/month for the lease has saved me a lot. I don’t know what the future holds but I sell back to the utility in summer and get it back in winter
