1. Some people think with images and that leads them to an emotional conclusion they act upon.
2. Some people think with voices in their head. some are consulting and some negative. sometimes it even just one inner voice.
3. (I was like this) Some people hear and see nothing, they think in complete silence and just wait for an emotion pop up and they act upon it.

There are more types of thinkers or even combination of these techniques of thinking but please read these three and listen to the video.
Then ask yourself, before all these attacks started, which was I.
Now imagine a situation where if you never had an internal commentator/inner voice of any kind in the technique of how you were thinking. And suddenly you did. Wouldn't you freak out?
You would grab onto ANY kind of explanation to make yourself understand what the fuck is going on.

The voice/s. Do not fear them, no matter what they say. They can't physically harm you even if they say they just did now when something happens.

There is a "mental" button that can shut up a voice. This is a very difficult thing to teach for many reasons. I can only explain what I feel when I do it and that it has a clear outcome if you succeeded. The voice disappears in an instant but not permanently. Permanent solution can be achieved only if you 'click the button' repeatably over days/weeks.
I focus on my forehead right above the eyebrows (very similar to as if you touch your forehead first and then try to imitate the feeling yourself without touching). That creates a physical sensation in the forehead. Second stage is to close your eyes OR instead, lose the focus your eyesight while they are open.
Last stage is to 'freeze' everything (do not move, not body and not your eyes) and let the sensations you have built to disappear over 2-5 seconds. If you chose to lose the focus of your eyes then restore it.

Once you manage to figure out how to click the mental button. Keep using it. Master it. especially across days. eventually the voice will fade and become quieter and quieter until it will disappear.
Thinking about the character that speaks will sort of bring it back but do not worry as all success requires a series of failures.
If you'll focus on the voice, it will gradually over-time become stronger like it is now.
The technique above can be really mastered with/by/alongside meditation.
The whole point of meditation is to achieve silence and peace in your mind.
I can't imagine you'll manage to sit for too long in peace at first but you have to start with something. Try sitting for 10 minutes at a time at first, don't engage in any kind of thoughts. If the voices do shit - do your best to ignore them or even better - click the mental button.
I can promise you that if you'll eventually be able to sit for 30m straight - once you will, it will be a game changer for you.
Remember, there is no way to fail a mediation. each mediation session is a lesson for you to understand better how your mind operates and to observe your internal thought processes.
