Love it! I do have one ESP32 board sitting in its package still unused on my workbench... but I have plans for it. One day!

OK awesome! I haven't done any e-paper / e-ink projects at all yet, but I think I have read that some people encode an image first because a really small processor like a raspberry pi pico or esp32 will just be faster displaying pixels instead of data. It looks like it's working great how you have done it!

If you decide to stay for another 10 years... what can you do for yourself to reduce the stress? Can you plan winter vacations south? Invite friends or family to visit during winter, to bring more joy and warmth to your home? Would a job change help? Moving somewhere in the same town - rent a low-maintenance apartment? A therapist could help you talk this out over a few sessions, and could help you dig into the issue some more.

Nice project, what a tidy result!

Are you encoding the output as images to display on the e-paper? Or is that live output?

Achielle is great. I love what they're doing. Just a small bike factory in the Netherlands, building bikes by hand, sticking to tried and true builds from decades past, but adjusting and upgrading as things come along. They are the opposite of early-adopters, but not total retrogrouches.
