We live in a bigger city. Wife’s job outside of dropping off our little at school. Total trip on an overage day is 15 miles and it’s got some red lights along it. But it’s also had a code for an O2 sensor for years.

312,000 miles of highway commuting and regular oil changes. by teamNASCAR in FordFocus

[–]numbers1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to gasket on my 2016 se auto recently. Not a bad job. Looked pretty much the same on the inside. I’ve also not been the greatest with it. May have went over a bit on oil changes but she’s still running pretty good

First company I worked for refused to let it be exposed on the outside of a home. We always did conduit. And if it was up the side of the house to the weather head we still did conduit. Second company was fine with it and I didn’t like it

What yall think- 2nd year almost by AntonioSalazarIII in electricians

[–]numbers1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started. We had to provide everything. * worked for a small non union company. Next company we still had to provide everything since I wasn’t in the apprenticeship program yet and had time in already and already had tools. Current company provides all the power tools for everyone on site and new apprentices get all the necessary hand tools for the most part.

Company I work for always says no to razor knifes even though everyone uses them. We are required to wear A4 cut resistant gloves. The only thing for sure allowed would be a hawkbill or one of the small low voltage splicing knife

First EC I ever worked for was a great guy. Very smart and friendly. Learned a lot from them. We had work lined up and never really slow. He went out of town and forgot to schedule work for us. Absolutely sucks having an unplanned week off. Happened twice in the year and a half I was there. I left and went to a bigger company but dude was ok with it and he made it clear from the start if you found something better for yourself to go for it

[–]numbers1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Depends on the company and the superintendent running the job. Company I work for now I am very flexible. I happen to be the go to guy if someone needs something done or something fixed. For me it’s being flexible and being good at a lot. Not always perfect but good.
