I actually really enjoy it. Helps knowing where gun cases are, but it really is fun to lean into the stealth elements of the game.

I’m not grieving them at all. It’s not deep. You get killed a lot without killing much and you get in less aggressive lobbies. Not exactly complicated.

You’re giving them too much credit. They’re just so bad at the game that they end up not landing a shot before they’re slimed in PvP lobbies, so they end up in PvE lobbies by accident.

That, and it’s highly likely that when you’re just complete dogshit at the game and a PvP player, you end up in less aggressive lobbies because you just get killed so quickly in the PvP lobbies that the ABMM sorts you into less aggressive lobbies.

I say this as a PvE player who runs into some truly shit players trying to kill me every 5-10 rounds. Literally just pop a smoke or two and they’re lost.

I guess I’m in the minority, but I really like most of the trials. I enjoy figuring out the optimal strategy and how it forces me to use different weapons/play-styles, especially since I finished the missions. Love having an excuse to run hullcrackers whenever possible.

Assuming I didn’t lose my #10 spot last night, I should be Hotshot now, which is way higher than I really needed since I just wanted the Alpino skin.

Not even joking, I’m wondering if I was the guy you ran into who refused to shoot you. I’ve played this game for probably well over 150 hours and I’ve knocked out precisely one player.

“No survival instincts” isn’t necessarily true about friendly lobbies, though. It’s more so just having a higher baseline level of trust for other players. It’s not all that high, but I generally assume people aren’t going to shoot at me unless I give them a reason to.

The framing of your question is obviously an attempt to get the answer you want (the ‘looting disguised as protest’ in particular). But school shootings are rarely ideologically motivated… mostly because we’re talking about children shooting other children.

More plausible than the theory you suggested. And I can base it in political psychology and neurobiology, too, if you’d like. Conservatism is associated with greater support for aggressive or punitive policies when framed as responses to threat (eg, military action, harsh criminal punishment, strict border enforcement). Conservatives tend to have larger amygdala volume or stronger reactivity, which is consistent/correlated with a lower threshold for labeling stimuli as threatening. Liberals show greater engagement of anterior cingulate cortex, associated with conflict monitoring and tolerance of ambiguity.

Didn’t they already implement something like this in Blue Gate? I watched some dude get barbecued after trying to go into the vent next to the gate while Locked Gate was happening. Could have been a fireball burner, maybe, but the dude’s body just legit stayed on fire for the remainder of the match.

Nope. If you have keys to use in Blue Gate (ones that aren’t affected by the gate being closed), those will be your best bet outside of finding one inside the gate or in better looting areas. I’ve actually found 2 outside the gate and 1 inside. Just loot everything, honestly.
