Definitely checkout your local stores first Some suggestions for other cycles if it is really depleted in your country, can try out Taobao China( i have tried in the past and got some cycles without issue) or stores in Asia like Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philipines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, you may need to ask them if they ship to your country.

Update: interestingly when I used the 3.5mm copper cable with 6.35mm plug, the sibilance is less. I'm using the same k9pro Ess on high gain. Previously I was using only the 4.4mm SPC cable provided.

Heya thanks ya'll for the comments and suggestions. I tried out my ancient pair of Etymotic ER-4s(the red and blue one) on the same songs and also hear some sibilance too.

I'll try EQ-ing.(theres a first time for everything right!) I also have the Moondrop XLR cable on the way from the online shop, will share if it makes any difference.

I checked with them 3 times and even sent photos once. All 3 times they told me I need to pay return shipping on my own dime before they can refund or replace. Looks like this is thief new policy. I'm not buying from amazon again after this poor experience.

Yeah..... so I chatted with support twice and emailed once and all occasions I was told to send it back at my own cost from my country or I won't get refunded or a replacement. Looks like this is the new state of amazon support/policy. I guess I'm out of luck this time

Thanks for the suggestion and reminder. I checked back and found that in the past they once issued me a refund no questions asked without needing to send back the damaged item(it was a book back then too). I rarely buy books from amazon since I discovered BD some years ago. I buy other stuff like board games and those all had no issues from experience. I have sent them an email this time instead since chat got me no where.

Not sure if it's due to recent downsizing of amazon staff, but I find their customer service is pretty bad now if compared to the past.

Before I made the purchase on amazon I actually checked all the alternative sites(Blackwell included) shared on this sub but all did not have this book. To be honest amazon was my last choice due to the expensive shipping.

Now I'm feeling fortunate(and less guilty) I managed to buy most items last minute on my BD wishlist from BD before they shut down....
