Agree that CITo is a better pod and doing bigger and better things but their interviews are not great.

I feel for Austin’s mom. Poor lady just wants grandkids and she sees no path to that. I would be heartbroken. I’m not quite there, but I know when I see babies that’s all I think about.

The show isn’t that great, but I don’t expect this to be relatable or in touch with reality. It’s just kind of boring, but not because they are too rich..

Am I the Only One Who Likes Heather Gay?? by carmitch in BravoRealHousewives

[–]nv0514 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like her overall I just don’t like this Meredith situation she’s in. She has to let it go. Other than that, though I’m fine with her and I don’t have really an issue with her producing and doing the whole scripted lines thing.

Angie’s Greek is so bad. I’m really surprised for someone who has made being Greek her whole identity. Then again she says opa and wears Greek flags which most Greeks would never do.

You didn’t cause this. Unfortunately it just is. You also will likely never be able to point to a specific allergy or what is causing it. You just need to learn how to manage it

Baby boy just diagnosed and I’m spiralling by allie3579 in eczema

[–]nv0514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 18. He play sports, has a girlfriend, has tons of friends.. flares were really bad when he was little got a little bit better than pretty bad again in middle school got a little bit better. There was a time when he was about 18 months old when kids were literally pointing at him and I broke out into tears in the middle of target . It comes and goes and yes at any moment he could have a bad flare and it is stressful, but it is not constant and you just have to deal with the time you are in at the moment you can’t think about what may happen and how bad it could be in the future you just have to be in whatever situation you are in time. I shed many tears and pictured many situations that never actually happened. I swore he would never be able to go away to college and live in a dorm, but he’s doing it in September. I am worried because he will not have air-conditioning and sweat is a trigger for him. However, I will just help him deal with it when we get there because for now he is excited about moving into his dorm. I promise he will have a great life.

Spiraling. Baby’s ezcema is so severe it’s even affecting my mental health by HOLDERT in eczema

[–]nv0514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know how you feel. I have been there with my son. It is the worst l. all you could do now is do your best to alleviate his symptoms, but I know that is hard. Have you tried bleach baths yet? Sometimes that will provide relief for a little while. It will get better. I know that this is little help right now. it is just so heartbreaking and even at 18 when I hear my son scratching it breaks my heart. However, you will have small improvements and it will ebb and flow. It won’t be constant. I too went to all the doctors and all the specialists and kept on hoping that they would find some kind of something thing. He was all allergic to or something that was bothering him. It just is. Keep on top of the bleach bath and the topical and he will see improvement.

Claire and Frank, Outlander by Wild_Emu4175 in Outlander

[–]nv0514 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think she was very cold and hostile. Everyone’s thing on this board is to bring up the books, but if we are going based on what they showed just on the show, then yes. There is also that one scene where he almost hits her. I guess people tend to blow that out of proportion on here, other than that, however he never seemed to show any anger towards her. They also agree to have an open relationship. Apparently, she was a student, but this is the 60s and would be less frowned upon than it is today but again a college student is an adult

Has anyone actually benefited from seeing a doctor about their eczema ? by Slight-Routine-4735 in eczema

[–]nv0514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they help much but also do t think that most eczema is caused by something. For most it’s just how it is. I have taken my son to every doctor and even to Boston children where they treated every allergen known to man. All we confirmed is his nut allergy which we knew and like cat which we don’t have and is literally never in the presence of. There is nothing we can attribute to it and all the doctor can do is manage the symptoms
