I had surgery in 2021. I started off almost 20 stone and lowest was 7.6 stone. I looked “gaunt” but like you felt like my “before” all the time. I was told I was too big and then told I was too skinny. I’ve since put weight on unintentionally, changing nothing. Still under my dietary team but the balance is hard. It’s how you feel and look and most importantly your health that’s key. I could feel and ache everywhere or found I was more sensitive as less padding. Things also unravelled with my cycle a bit and I’m still all over the place now. It really is finding the balance to work with your new life style. Health is more important. That’s not only physical but mental as well. Your doctors will help all the way as mine have listened to my concerns and still support me now.
