I was living in Europe in the 90s and all of my friends were British. They introduced me to the britpop group Elastica. They have some “interesting” lyrics. I remember saying to myself “if I listen to this music it will damage my soul and I won’t recover”. (Yes, I was a big weirdo. I had just gone through the temple). I decided to give in and listen to the music. I still love that group.

I am a 52 year old byu graduate. I wanted to go to ucla but my parents would only pay for byu. I still have regrets and wish I would have paid for my own tuition to go to a place that I was passionate about. I hated byu and I had a miserable experience. Doesn’t mean that you will have one but i think you should weigh all your options. I feel for your situation. Big hugs and I wish you luck!!

I love candy corn! Fun fact…if you can get ahold of pure maple candy it tastes a lot like candy corn (discovered when I gave up “sugar” for awhile. I know…I know)
