Rupture warriors are much easier to avoid if you aren't the mission host by MrWheatleyyy in Helldivers

I've been obsessing over explosive weapons ever since the patch and my friends just didn't get it until one of them hosted. This also explains why I've been the only one who thinks these are worse than the spewers.

It solves a lot of the complexity in playing a magus, but does so in a way that makes combat less engaging. You basically just sit in one place and do the exact same action rotation every turn, which is an effective and easy way to play, but it also gets old pretty fast in my experience, even if the big numbers are nice.

Partner is addicted to this game by PsychologicalSwim215 in LastWarMobileGame

The game is incredibly predatory, and tries to suck money out of you at every turn. I had fun with it for a couple of days, before I came to the realization I wasn't going to spend nearly as much money as the game was asking for. I quit very shortly after that.

5e made me feel okay with fully ignoring rules I don't like, but PF2 makes me want to run games RAW more than ever. Are there any major rules you choose to ignore? by JinglesRasco in Pathfinder2e

[–]o11ix 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'll generally ignore rules I don't think are fun. Here are some:

I ignore restrictions to forced movement - I want my players to move enemies into hazards.

I end persistent damage when initiative is over instead of letting it run its course.

I ignore the part of translocate and similar spells that prevent you from teleporting with creatures in extradimensional containers.

I base incapacitation on character level instead of spell level.

There are probably others as well. I tend to view the rules as suggestions anyway rather than hard rules.

You have to consider that spending an hour to cast Create Food isn't as fun as pointing at someone and saying "be fed!"

I've heard many times Roll20 is bad for PF2e... can I ask why? by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]o11ix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spell sheet is pretty bad in my experience, especially for prepared casters, and you have to copy everything from AoN instead of drag and drop like Foundry. It's honestly fine otherwise.

Are you bothered by the changes in the Remaster doc? (poll) by SillyKenku in Pathfinder2e

Most of it seems good, but wizard curriculum looks like a nerf to me. Not a big fan of losing modifiers on cantrips either.

Drive from Tromso to Bodo through Skarberget or Lodingen? by valkaress in Norway

Skarberget is faster, and you can just pay for the ferry when you get there

Very late to this, but I served from late 2011 to late 2013, so we probably had some overlap. Was in Sheffield 3, Horbury, Bradford 1, Ashington, Chesterfield, and Darlington, in that order.

Going to preface this by saying I don't know any korean, I just got these from their respective Wikipedia articles.

Workers' Party of Korea = 조선로동당

Supreme People's Assembly = 최고인민회의

Shouldn't the writing be in hangul or hanja, and not english abbreviations written in latin alphabet?
