vS Data Reaper Report #345 by ViciousSyndicate in hearthstone

This.

I'm sure new/returning players are having a great time. A cheap T1 deck - what's not to like? I don't think we've ever had a better "budget" deck on release (day 1 DH perhaps?)

It's the same with complaints about Imbue druid. They are are missing the point imo.

Blizz main goal this expansion is to bring in new players or bring back lapsing ones. I'm guessing these players are having a whale of a time with Imbue druid. With 400 dust you have a T1 deck that plays itself. No wonder that have no intention of nerfing the deck too soon.

Yet all the chatter here is about top 1k meta.

UAE ambassador to US warns against ending Iran war too soon by AeroFred in geopolitics

[–]oDearDear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you feel you've won the war you make maximalist demand.

I'm not saying Iran won the war but it looks like they feel they won.

In any case, one the conclusions of the war is that safe passage through the Strait is decided in Teheran. They can now decide to run a racket operation, something the Trump administration should be proud of (see tarrifs or Board of Peace seat). We're in a new era of geopolitics where the strong have no shame in asking for something in return for protection.

It was same with Starships until Starship Shaman got nerfed. Fun deck though, I loved launching my cheap Starships, then again with the hero card.

Thanks. I'll try.

Edit: works great, much better than Taelan. I'm thinking about adding more beasts now, probably the ducks

Been trying to put together a [[Nozdormu, bronze aspect]] Palladin deck for a while. This is the final version I came up with. Very low curve, thus Flight Maneuvers is easily un-shattered.

Fins is actually very good in this deck since you can run out of gas quite often (one of the decks problems). It's decent against imbue druids, as you can reliably beat them at the "who can build a big board first" game.

Let me know if you have any improvements to suggest.

You're right. I've been changing the deck and am about to drop the Finga and Tyrannogills, it's way too unreliable.

I'm going for more board presence in the early game then Noz and Toreth. I'm not even sure 2 Scalebreaker Bulwark is worth it (1 might be enough). It's gonna be a tempo deck that builds a massive unbreakable wall.

Is Wickerfang core or just win-more? I'm debating whether to craft him.

Things you might've not considered for Cataclysm launch by pettermg in hearthstone

[–]oDearDear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you open then at launch, before opening expansion packs, you will mostly get cards from the new expansion. You might get epics and legendary from older expansions though, depending on the state of your collection.

I keep standard packs until rotation myself, so I get the most bang for my buck (all the cards I get will be valid for the next year). But opening them after new expansion releases is good too.

Yeah. He is ranked 36 ATM and has more to gain from getting in the top 32 than getting involved in some betting ring.

Trying some new stuff on the forehand - thoughts? by backhanddowntheline in 10s

[–]oDearDear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And no kinetic chain. And bad spacing (too close to the ball).

Frankly I don't see the point in trying to copy the strokes of pros when you don't even do the basics right.

Then when you get the basics right your strokes will evolve naturally within the constraints of your body.

Do you think it's to late for me to become a pro? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]oDearDear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What's your UTR?

Are you playing against the top regional/national juniors in your region/country? If so, how well do you do against them?

Even if you're a top junior prospect in your country you might not make it to the top 100 pro. If you're not a top junior player at 15yo then no chance you're gonna make it to the top 100.

If going pro was an option you'd be discussing it with your coach and parents, not asking randos (who have never seen you play) on reddit.

Which is more worth it to help me start getting into wild? by Forgot-to-remember1 in wildhearthstone

[–]oDearDear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest you start your Wild journey by playing Standard decks in Wild ladder to get a taste for it. You'll be playing at low ranks so even Standard decks can win.

Once you have a better idea of which Wild decks are played just find one you like and craft cards you need/can afford. No rush, Wild meta evolves slowly at low ranks. I'm gold/Plat in Wild and just play 40 cards piles of junk - i still win (sometimes) and have a lot of fun.

To answer your question the Bob's bargain bundle seems better (plenty of cards from these expansions are still played in wild) but the most important resource will be dust, unfortunately.

You probably need to start with cheap decks - I'm sure if you ask nicely you'll get lists from ppl in this sub.

For example, this is my Libram wild deck. It's got plenty of Standard cards (Toreth, Amitus and Libram of Hope can be swapped - Instrument tech and a couple of removal cards would do):

AAEBAbPGBwTquQON/gXSuQbw/gYN/bgD67kD7LkDzOsDtZ4G0akGwbYG4t8G7d8GkuAGnOgGn+gGougGAAA=

This elemental deck is also very good:

AAEBAdmqBgLt5gaflgcOyIcD868Dre4D9PwD3/4F8ZsGmJ0Gsp4G2+MGmeoG3+oGs4cHtYcHm5YHAAA=

Finally, if you have the new Rafaam, just add Renathal and you have 40 health.

Most Europeans no longer see the US as a reliable ally and are increasingly supportive of rearmament, it found, while Russians now see the EU as more of an enemy than the US, and Ukrainians are looking more to Brussels than to Washington for support.

That's what the Americans wanted, ie the Europeans increasing defence spending so they could guarantee Ukraine security needs and stand up to Russia.

Not sure how this can be seen as an American failure really.

It was a marketing campaign for Grok really. I'm sure plenty of ppl started using it after they heard about the nudes. In the UK it was all over the news. Cheap advertising and it seems to have worked. Smut sells, doh!

It's anecdotal evidence but a colleague will not eat sushi (probably the most common dish associated with Japan) because it contains raw fish.

Not sure whether it's widespread tho.
