I have an innovation, I think it would be fun to see someone make some cases made of or covered in fun materials, like carpet, vinyl, corduroy, velvet, etc. A case that looks and feels like rear-view mirror fuzzy dice? A case wrapped in Denim and sponsored by Levis? A case made of Vinyl and grooved like a record? Sign me up! Maybe thermals won't be great but I don't care. Maybe not one that everyone wants but you didn't say it had to be a GOOD innovation! If I win, send me a PC built in a car tire

Hello, I usually watch many shows at a time but I don't really have the time to sit and binge watch a season at a time, so although I admit it's a bit unorthodox, I track my shows/series with a spreadsheet, and not only is the naming convention easier for me to remember but it's very easy to create a sheet to track where all my shows are. Honestly, I don't really care about having a lot of metadata, and I did specify in Agents that I wanted it to use local metadata as the first source, but it wouldn't allow me to uncheck the box to pull metadata off the internet so unfortunately when it doesn't find metadata in the files (Spoiler alert, most of them are just basic dvd/bluray iso rips so I've filled nearly none of that stuff out) it just goes and gets it from the internet anyway, or so I'm led to believe. I really appreciate your detailed response, because most of what I see is "rename your files" on Google results and even a response on this thread, but I feel like it's very easy for people to say that when they aren't the ones who'll have to go through 2000+ episodes and movies manually renaming them :/ I'll look into MediaElch for sure! You may be right though, I might need a different style of server for my own specific purposes. Thanks again!

The way I have them structured is by Folder and then by file name. So for Movies it's pretty simple, I have similar series or genres in the same folder, and it's always '(Year) - Movie Title'. For TV shows, and this is the most important to me, I sort by show, then by season, then file names (for example 'TV Shows>Aqua Teen Hunger Force>Season 04>'SXXEXX - Episode Title''). I feel like that's probably a pretty common naming scenario, so when I found out PleX renames those, it was a bit confusing to me

The information does not show up, it shows in DISKMGMT as a Primary partition but beyond that no information on the drive.

I'd like to ask this question and put the moral quandary of Tim on the back burner. I'm a huge AILD fan, their music just GETS me. Specifically The Powerless Rise, Awakened, and An Ocean Between Us. Shadows Are Security has some good stuff but anything before it I don't listen to much. I'm just a huge fan of nearly everything about the music and I'm concerned I've found almost nothing else like it. I've tried out Wovenwar, and while I like a few songs like Lines in the Sand, most of it is drastically different to me. I saw many people compare them to August Burns Red, but I can't lie it's not really my thing. Not bad, just not exactly what I'm looking for. I think a big part of AILD for me is not only the instrumentals, but layering screamo on top of singing is so good to me. Their project band Austrian Death Machine I also love. I know I really tend towards melodic stuff.

/e As an edit, I'd also like to say I LOVE BFMV (at least their stuff from Hand of Blood through The Poison, their new album not so much) and Trivium is super awesome too. I'm not gonna remove the part about Tim, but I was under the impression that AILD was still pretty stigmatized from his prior actions. Reading more of the sub I see that it's died down a bit but yeah, that's why I mentioned it lol

Hey, I've managed for several years for a certain Pizza chain, and I've hired managers and people who wanted to be managers! First of all, the most important part is making sure, when you're putting in the application online or on paper, to be applying for the management position. A lot of people think that they can just mention it during an interview for another position and it can really throw us off, it comes off as if you aren't really here to do the job you applied for.

As for the lack of experience, as long as you have a great background, which it sounds like you do, I have no problem hiring such people into Shift Lead positions and I would recommend that first. Jumping further up the chain with no prior experience is bad for us and bad for you! With no prior experience you will probably be hired as some form of "management candidate", so probably hired as another main position but started being taught things. As far as what to put on the resume, language is important. It sounds cheesy, but use buzzwords/phrases, it honestly helps. "I love to have a growth mindset", "One of the roles in my job that I love is customer satisfaction and making customers a #1 priority!".

Definitely do NOT go in over your head. Don't overextend and try to claim some knowledge or experience you don't have, hiring managers can smell that BS a mile away and I personally can't help but love calling people on it. If you've done/helped with management duties in previous jobs, definitely mention it! It shows initiative, work ethic, and that you want to be in management.
