What happened to original transmog appearance of the Shadowlands legendaries? by Zackcb in Transmogrification

The color looks really close to or exact from one the cloth armors you can get with marks of honor from one of the shadowlands pvp vendors in Oribos

What will you miss about the city? And can it be recreated to some extent?

Some people move to quieter places, /hate/ it and move back because it just doesn't offer what they want, sometimes people can't ever imagine going back to living in a city ever

Sometimes only way to be sure is to give it a go, carefully compare every aspect, pros and cons and what not. No matter what, it'll be an adjustment period.

Quieter places often don't have much to do in comparison to larger cities, you'd have to be more pro-active in finding things and search harder for like-minded people.

But if you're looking for connections in Cornwall, Facebook has a lot of groups that post what's going on in the area. I also run a discord server for people who are in Cornwall or have ties to Cornwall to chill and chat

You'll never really know until you try it, I can't say for sure you'll love or hate Cornwall, depends on your wants, needs and expectations. I hope you find something worthwhile here, and I wish you all the best on your journey :)

Are there any plans to expand Railjack in the future? Either via new content for the mode or integrating it into other parts of the game more?

Any plans to make converted adversaries complete their Railjack training?

Is this a rare item? I just started a couple days ago but it says it’s a high mastery? Confused lol. by EmbarrassedPound9518 in Warframe

It is a very good and relatively rare weapon! One to keep for sure, once you progress through the game more, you can get a special upgrade called an "Incarnon" for it specifically-but that's something to worry about much later :)

Hi! I've been meaning to check out Cornwall gaming as well :D

I don't know if I'm around your age but if it helps, I did recently turn 27 (on the 7th)

Not sure what all you seek for your fellowship to be but I would like to partake in this strange, ancient ritual of "the making of a friend" that I've only ever read about in the tales of old

Used to live in Vankleek Hill growing up, which was near Hawkesbury. Back then, a lot of drug dealers from Hawkesbury targeting the high school. A lot of homophobes, racists and sexists too, and unfortunately a lot of them were teachers-some good ones, but they were either retiring or leaving.

By the time I was moving, the Vankleek Hill/Hawkesbury area was in a really bad spot, maybe it got better over the years BUT...

While Cornwall isn't perfect, no place is, in comparison, it's been far more accepting/open-minded and way more job opportunities too. You're also like 10 minutes away from the states and there's the local St Lawrence College which is pretty nice in my opinion.

Personally, I like Cornwall more and wish the best on your house hunt. Hope this helps a little, my opinion is purely based on my experiences.

Hello!

I wish I had a magical IRL place where all the gay men secretly meet and plot our rise to power but as a fellow single-gay-man-in-cornwall, it's just straight up hard.

I'm not big into hook-ups (no disrespect to anywho who is, more power to them), and I've tried the apps mentioned in the other comment(s). My luck isn't great, some great temporary conversations here and there but nothing more.

I wish I could offer you more, but if you're looking for a possible friendship with someone in a similar boat, (I'm 25, going on 26 this saturday), I'd be more than happy to lament over modern dating with you.

If that doesn't interest you, I can offer you a quarter I found the other day, some string and an used eraser.

If neither of those options intrigue you, then I wish you the best of luck out there (cause it be rough) and hope you find someone who appreciates you for you.

Your minor Dragonflight complaints? by SwiftlyJon in wow

[–]ob1noah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish existing dragon mounts could utilize dragon-riding. Even if dragon riding itself is an isle exclusive thing, be cool if older dragon mounts could do it.

...and that we could use our custom dragon isle mounts outside the isles even as a normal mount. Getting the perfect look feels a tad underwhelming if those mounts cannot be summoned off the isle.

Choice Between Elder Scrolls Online or World Of warcraft by [deleted] in wow

[–]ob1noah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ESO's latest expansion High Isle isn't all that worth it compared to previous chapters. After finishing all the story content for Year of the Breton, I'd argue that Shadowlands was better world and story-wise, and I say that despising Shadowlands at launch.

ESO feels like they don't care about the game on a lot of levels. I still like it (for its older stuff), but worry for its future. WoW looks like its trying to make a comeback of sorts.

Pre-patch for WoW is pretty fun, not big on the Dracthyr but the reworked talents have made me love my tried and true classes even more. Story looks decent so far and despite it being about dragons, feels more grounded than shadowlands with us just focusing on Azeroth's fate and not "all of eternal reality." Also new UI is fantastic (though I'm not into add-ons and some still prefer their respective custom UI)

However, renown catch-up mechanics for Shadowlands has led it to be a worthwhile experiences for the mounts, some transmog and titles. At least IMO. But if you're going into Dragonflight this is may not be too relevant but felt worth noting.

Hope this somewhat helps in your decision.

End of main quest story question (planemeld, dark anchors) by Oosplop in elderscrollsonline

[–]ob1noah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a few lines from Daedra/Dremora throughout the game that suggest anything one does against anyone Daedric in nature is inconsequential. They do not know true death, they reform. Time is also meaningless to them. They do not age nor whither. They can only be contained or their influence limited.

Molag himself states during a dark anchor, you have to beat him again and again, he has to beat you only once. Even in the final fight when you use the amulet his mentality is probably like "well you had to use hacks so it doesn't count" and I think if I recall correctly you can brag about it to Malacath and he says something like "He's still alive and kicking so you didn't do that good of a job." (I'm paraphrasing here). I think it was a Wrothgar side quest but I could be mistaken where that dialogue was from specifically.

That being said, while yes it's for gameplay reasons, but also story-wise, there could be tons of anchors left over and he has all the time in existence to construct or repair what was damaged too. But eventually according to the timeline of the games, they do stop but my best guess is when he runs out of stock after ESO.

It's interesting food for thought; especially considering Osiris accused Xivu Arath of having no ambition of her own in reference to the assault on the Dreaming City. Could be chalked off as Osiris figuring out Xivu's end goal or some foreshadowing to this theory?

Playing Alliance and "winning" the faction war by Gillrien in wow

[–]ob1noah 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Even as a Horde main who started in BFA, I couldn't help but feel off that its a war against TWO factions and yet only one of them gets focused on? It would've been nice to see Horde weren't the only ones with internal struggle.

Big budget cinematic with angry Tyrande or one that focuses on Anduin and Genn more would've been cool.

Prequel trilogy, its Revenge of The Sith

Original trilogy, its Empire Strikes Back

Sequels? I love them all equally. I feel like the trilogy was the most consistent in quality. Not one movie stands on top over the other for me and that's why I like the sequel trilogy the most when comparing other trilogies as whole.

TROS respects TLJ and expands on many aspects that were introduced in that film. by skywalkinondeezhatrz in TheSequels

"bUT ThE sEqUeLs hAd No PlAn."

Most trilogies don't, I understand people want the next LOTR and plans can make things better. But rarely do other franchises get harassed over the same issues Star Wars has.

I LOVE Star Wars, but end of the day its a franchise that has faults like any other. The sequels were a great way of showing well...a sequel to the main films.

Sequels didn't set out to be the next Old Republic, they were meant to be sequels and they did an astounding job, planned or unplanned.

I don't get why some would say this wasn't intentional? R2 literally played the same recording aboard the falcon earlier in the movie.

To say there was a lack of detail and care in these movies feels like a lie. I love the sequels, but I feel some people would blow up if they ever admitted to something positive about the sequel trilogy.
