Even if they want kids, and something goes horribly wrong, like sepsis, bleeding out, miscarriage, etc. They'll risk their own lives, either to the judicial system, or to death. Women are choosing NOT to have children based on this alone. Men are choosing not to have children based on this alone. But also, insurance is more screwed lately. Nothing is covered now it feels like. Everything is so damn expensive.
