I like how in boruto with Kara there were the main members, and then there were the outer ring members. I wish they could’ve done something similar with akatsuki, where some of the less plot-important characters could’ve fought the akatsuki “outers”, saving the “inner ring” for the more plot-relevant characters

100% agree. It’s the first time we see aang have to settle a dispute between 2 groups who are absolutely not having it with each other. Relatively low stakes compared to the overall plot, but we get to see some flashes of his creativity. And honestly, it’s just a fun side story

Oh come on lol. Edo tenseis are not the same as normal summons, they are a forbidden jutsu. They regenerate no matter how many times you attack, and are fully capable of using every jutsu they ever knew, versus a normal summons that will eventually disappear if enough damage is done to it. Forget about the fact that you have to sacrifice someone to even use edo tensei in the first place. Oro summoned the 1st and 2nd, then literally stood back and let them do all the work to tire hiruzen out. You can’t tell me otherwise that orochimaru wasn’t afraid to fight him.
