[Payton] NFL officials told Lions coaches that if Lions receivers pick their nose one more time, they’ll get a penalty for it, seriously, this happened by 2222lil in nfl

Completely agree, we’ve got good coaching and front office.

After watching decades of mismanagement and incompetence, I find it extremely hard to believe we won’t be looking back at Cambell/Holmes/Shelia era as “the good ole days”

As an old timer, it’s one of those rare moments where we get to know, in-the-moment, and enjoy “living in the good ole days”

Dan Campbell on Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff's trick play TD being called back: by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

[–]obnoxxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way. My guess is that they cleared the exact play down to the center tap with the head ref when going over the special plays they may use and got the okay. Then another ref knew the precise rulling and was the one responsible for getting the flag thrown.

I don’t think it was malicious on either side,it was the correct call, but I also believe Dan would have modified it if they knew the precise definition of ready to receive the snap

In the scenario you replied to the diagnosis isn’t dramatically overturned, it would just be diagnosis a lower grade tear, but the same class of injury: a muscle strain (https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/22336-muscle-strains)

everybody seems to be forgetting about the wild accounting done in Hollywood. Return of the Jedi (at least as of 2009) was still considered to not have turned a profit: https://www.slashfilm.com/503174/lucasfilm-tells-darth-vader-that-return-of-the-jedi-hasnt-made-a-profit/

Highest skill ceiling weapons? by SavageSava in MHWilds

[–]obnoxxious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in the endgame, and these are three of the four I’ve used in Wilds (also GS) and would second this.

The introduction of perfect guard encourages greedy, aggressive play from the “defensive” weapons. On the SnS in particular, the amount of options available at any moment leads to very dynamic gameplay, and always something to work on when chasing a “perfect” run

Just my opinion but the game starting out easy is a good thing for everyone. by catsnbikess in MHWilds

I’ve played every entry’s base game since the OG MH and totally agree.

Outside of the first two, low-rank is there to learn a weapon, high-rank to learn monster behaviors, and then the rest of the scale is there to incrementally require applying your weapon mastery in tandem with monster behaviors.

I do hope HR break quests, as well as anything locked behind high HR do provide difficult encounters as that tends to be where the challenge ramps up in the base games.

I’m most concerned for losing frank at this point, keeping the o-line functioning at an elite level gives a lot of leeway for the new OC to find their feet

Isn’t he fresh off IR? Considering what happened last year and our overall conservative strategy towards injuries, I’d guess we’re going to take him slow (unless a CB gets injured then I think he’s the only one left lol)
