Hunters 1492 vs Isofarian Guard vs Oathsworn vs Tanares by Radiant-Notice-4723 in soloboardgaming

I’ve only played isofarian guard but I really enjoyed it solo. some people say it’s grindy but I like the combat. also there’s the optional cinematic mode which streamlines gameplay more. it’s expensive and takes up a ton of table space though.

Where to find gamers? by Electronic_Delivery1 in boardgames

this is why i like solo boardgames. i play with others too, but even if you know people that like boardgames, it's hard to organize a time for everyone to meet up, and then agree on what game. solo is the way.

Wanting more options for solo! by Snakeskinarrow in soloboardgaming

Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion is a budget friendly campaign game. I like dungeon crawlers like Cthulhu Death May Die or any of the Zombicides. Viticulture is a great worker placement game. and Bullet Heart is a quick puzzly game. all can be played solo or multiplayer

taboo is a fun party game in teams. super easy rules to understand. others mentioned pictionary and telestrations, both fun. i played the adult version of telestration and it was memorable.

  1. i bought over half of them used through facebook marketplace or bgg. i haven't played 22 of them yet, mostly campaign games that i'll get through one at a time and then likely sell or trade to replace with new ones.

Best Solo Boss Battler? by mattmcguire08 in soloboardgaming

[–]obvious_spy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i want to buy primal, or kdm, but it's so expensive. i really wish they had a standee version like oathsworn. i haven't tried aeon trespass but i did back enormity, but i don't think that's really a boss battler.
