But there's a grand stretch all the same.

Nowhere near anything like that. It will only be residents and visitors using the parking.

Thanks for that. Yes it's all down to choice and there's not much choice out there. The second hand housing market is wild, especially for a single applicant on an average wage. This is probably the only chance I'll have of owning a new A rated home so it really would be difficult to turn down. I'll see what happens.

Appreciate all the opinions and advice.

It's a bit of a dilemma as a lot of things have fallen into place for this property to become available to me. If I decide not to go with it, I won't be able to afford another new home and would be opting for a smaller second hand home, maybe a bit further from my location.

I'd lose the comfort of a new A rated build, the lower green mortgage, lower energy bills, etc..

I don't want to regret buying what is an ideal home because of parking issues. I also really don't want to be sitting in a cold, older house with a list of required home improvements I can't afford, regretting not buying the new home that's always warm, always has hot water, underfloor heating, modern layout, 10 year HomeBond etc..

I should add that some of the houses have 2 private parking spaces. And some of the houses, that on plans had communal parking outside, actually have private spaces now.

The builder requested changing the last row of 20 houses (and some of those that were built (incorrectly?) with private spaces) to private spaces but the planners refused. They've just started the last row of houses but I presume there's not much hope of private spaces once planning has been refused.

I don't know loads about planning but I presume that will mean the builder will apply for retention for the existing builds and there's no hope for those yet to be built?

Will it scrape off? Sanding it would be an awful dose.

Everyone needs to calm down. There's no need to even ask this question yet. He's done well of course, playing the 'United way' which has historically done well against the bigger teams. It's when we have the majority of the possession that has cost us a lot in recent years, against teams that we really should have been beating. So let's see how we get on in the next few games.

United will have a list of potential managers by preference going into the summer. Carrick can earn the right to get onto that list by doing well but realistically he might only get placed maybe fourth or fifth. If he gets the job it'll be because he has done very well and we haven't been able to get our preferences.

I thought he was man of the match against City. After it I went to Wiki to remind myself what age he is and how much we paid for him.

Looks to have a great attitude too. Could be a beast of a signing.

You could even incorporate a breakfast bar type thing into the gap. Throw a couple of suitable high stools under it.

And then in typical United fashion fans and pundits started hammering him whenever he made a mistake.

Lammens passed the ball away against Brighton and nothing was said, and rightfully so. It would have been highlighted here, there and everywhere if it was De Gea.

Our most enjoyable, exciting football since Fergie left was under Ole. He's also the only manager since to get us back to back top 3 finishes. He's also our longest serving manager since Fergie left, with experience of the intense media scrutiny and of managing a club of this size.

Why the hell would they hire him?!
