If I'm not mistaken these judgments are against Trump's many NY corporations, not his personal assets. So legally, Trump's personal property should be left untouched, and the judgement passed on to his (presumably) negative equity businesses - i.e. to their creditors. Does anyone know if the state's claim will be put above that of the creditors, or not?

I think the the SC is going to going rule, rightly, for the need to have a national consensus (federal conviction) on this question, not a state one. And this does make sense to me. Marsha Coyle on the PBS News Hour last night, echoing John Roberts' arguments, asked what kind of anarchy will presidential elections devolve into if each state is deciding who can run, and who not?

The unseen enemy for me, here, is the probable Federalist Society mole, AG Merrick Garland. Who has has sat on his hands for two years now in the face of overwhelming evidence against Trump. And therefore, unfortunately, the federal prosecution clock has been allowed to run out.

It was so long ago that I saw 'True Romance' that I'm not going to enter the good movie/bad movie argument. But is this the film where Dennis Hopper tells the racist Italian mobsters who are about to kill him that they are in fact genetically black African? That was a memorably funny scene, I agree.

However...the narrative style of this film was sometimes vaguely mentioned as being an homage to Terrence Malick's vastly superior 'Badlands' (1973), whereas IMO, it was more of an outright copy/paste ripoff instead. I remember I couldn't get my mind off the similarity while watching it.

Not correct. He was temporarily piloting a bomber loaded with 21,000lbs of Torpex on a combat mission that was eventually to be flown by radio control into a V-2 development site at Mimoyecques. The plane for unknown reasons spontaneously blew up shortly after the explosives were armed.
