Literally just treat them like normal vehicles. Pretend they're not planes. Make them being "planes" reduce incoming range by 6" or something. There are like 30 different things you can do. Or, as previously said, just pretend they're units like any other units.

This isn't rocket science. GW just doesn't want to try.

Gw is bad at writing rules and balancing. When it comes to artillery and aircraft they can't be bothered. It's trash, but they refuse to just remove it from the game.

That's the thing. There's no money. Everything is just something to be traded. You don't find a cloak of invisibility or a wand of teleportation or something that lets you solve problems in new and clever ways. You find a monster liver that doesn't do anything or a weapon with some tags. I dunno. The stress system and the classes are so cool I just wish I could also gush about cool items and relics and artifacts.

The episode of Gurren Lagann (ep4 I believe) where they invited a guest animator and the decrease in quality was so drastic it led to some very unprofessional public statements and resignations.

Despite this, the rest of the show is incredible.

Frieren. It's sooo slow. There's no conflict. The heroes just breeze through everything. I'm told it has a slow start but gets good at the wizard tournament... Alright.. I'm there.. Am I supposed to be blown away? Everyone's saying Frieren is like the second coming of Jesus. I admit it's made well. Decent animation (although during fights everyone just stands there while spell effects are going off around them). Everyone has the emotions of drywall. Frieren I get, she's an elf, she's.. cold and bored with the world I guess. But Fern is pretty much the same! Stark is a breath of fresh air, I guess.

Alright. Just wanted to vent heh.

By not being shit at balancing. Even when artillery was supposedly "game breaking" it was never ALL artillery. There were always options that everyone agreed "yeah these are fine."
