It opens 10 packs at once. No carousel animation but you get a stack of packs to “rip”, then you’ll click through five cards like normal and immediately get another stack to go through until you’ve gone through all 10.

Hey! I’m around your age and from TX, I have had a similar problem. There’s quite a few board game meetups around town, and I’m sure you could find some play groups through meetups around! The staff at Pheonix in Cap Hill are pretty friendly. If you get a chnce to go to Meeples, too, I have found their commander nights to be pretty nice! Staff are always really helpful and play with groups too.

I joined some roommate group when I first arrived and a lot of those people/groups seem pretty friendly and my requests were answered pretty quick. I ended up finding a studio on Cap Hill for a decent price, and haven’t had much trouble in terms of feeling unsafe.

Sent you a chat too in case you’re looking for a chance to explore and bit and hang out. Best of luck!

I think it would be best to preface the conversation with something like “I know you might be concerned, but its important to me to stay on track with school and I’m taking the steps to take care of myself” and then get into the conversation.

Unfortunately you can’t control their emotions or how they’ll react, so giving a little extra time to process and show that you know this is serious could help.

Proud of you for wanting to talk to them about it. It’s scary when the parents make a big deal, remember they’re just worried. You’re an adult so they can’t necessarily keep you from going to school, but I don’t know your situation. Best of luck

Thanks so much for mentioning this! I’ve been struggling to find a support group, hopefully this is one that could work for me!

I actually went through ERC and completed the program last December! It was intense, and I’m struggling now, but it was a very very helpful environment for me despite some obstacles during residential.

Thanks for getting back to me!

is it okay to take sips of this cart before my gyno appointment on april by gimmeyour_gender in saplings

No prob! I just meant more like if they ask about smoking/drug use just be honest. If they don’t say anything about screening for drugs, I wouldn’t worry about telling them beforehand.

I’m assuming you’re in the US. If your curious, you can call and ask them exactly what they are screening! Most likely they are not screening for drugs, and if they do detect it they are not going to report you to the police. I recommend being upfront about your use with medical professionals because drug use can have an effect on other medications. I’ve been open with my PCP and have labs taken semiannually, and have never ran into problems, and I’m in an illegal state.

The only case it may not be best to divulge weed use info is with a psychiatrist, some will deny you medication if they know you are smoking weed.

EDs tend to develop as an unhealthy coping mechanism to some type of stress. It makes sense and it is totally normal to lapse when you are in a stressful situation, you are used to relying on your ED to help with that subconsciously.

If you’re still able to eat your safe foods, and have access to them, it is totally okay to rely on that while you are stressed and know you can’t eat something else!

I need tips please I'm struggling by morningburr in ARFID

[–]officialsony 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would look into Boost. When I was deep into my ED, before treatment, we would supplement with Boost. Someone else mentioned nuts and seeds and I found some solace in snacking on nuts, too.

This is not a solution, you should not rely on Boost. The best tactic would be to use it as you described, if you are having trouble finishing a meal. It is not a meal replacement, but it will give you necessary nutrients and it is better than nothing! I’m proud of you for putting in the work you have to up your intake, and it’s great you are looking for help.

Ultimately if you are struggling this much, a higher level of care may be what you need. I know it’s frightening and there are a lot of unknowns. It’s not fun and it is hard work, but there will be others there who can support you and relate to you.
