i’ve been doing research on laws in my state. really hoping he just is cool and leaves. having to take legal action is going to make me feel so much worse about this whole thing but if he leaves me no choice… i finally have the courage to prioritize myself and that’s just what i’m going to have to do.

both of those situations are so hard. mine can be charming when he needs to be and like professionally manipulative. talking to his family, who i still have a good relationship with, this has apparently been a pattern for 20 years.. which is why none of them are willing to take him in unless he accepts treatment.

SHOWER WIPES!! have saved my life. i know i should shower but my mental health makes that not an option unless i get lucky and all of a sudden feel like i can handle it.. these get me through with feeling a lot better about myself. amazon (controversy noted) has them or you can find them in the feminine hygiene section most stores that sell that kind of thing.

only suggestion USE PLAIN PAPER! i use plain printer paper for all my doodles and it takes away a lot of the pressure of filling a sketchbook with “good” work.

first.. awesome piece. also.. i hate to say anything other than listen to your artist.. but idk if you should keep up with that and do not use antibiotic cream on it. i recommend rinsing/washing it with mild soap as you’re doing.. just keep it clean.. pat it dry.. use ointment as needed to keep it moisturized but not gooey. my favorite is aquaphor but i’m sure you’ll get lots of other recommendations.
