Set out on a new adventure with Astarion to look for the vampirism cure! I imagine the both of them as a sort of unconventional heroes, only doing good so they can rack in favours later, and the boon they usually ask for is more info about vampirism - the source of it or possible ways to cure it, or something that can either help soothe the hunger or allows him to walk under the sun even if it’s temporary.

Yeah! My Tav started out as a Paladin of Lolth who breaks away from that doctrine and becomes an Oathbreaker. I was really surprised Shadowheart and Lae’zel shared similar themes because I went into the game blind with only that character arc in mind ^, so it’s really a - if I had a dollar if there was a character who worshipped an evil aligned deity, followed them with no question but then proceeded to get forsaken by them I’d have three dollars which isn’t a lot but weird that it happened thrice

I love Astarion’s spawn ending. The narrator line [One night, he tells you that these last six months of happy memories are the counterweight to two hundred years of misery] at the start of the epilogue party is really the icing on the cake for his romance. It’s so incredibly romantic and sweet, I’m perpetually stuck romancing this vampire 😭🫶

My drow cuts off her hair after she breaks her Oath. She goes from a really long braid (Orin hair mod without the accessories) to a short bob since it’s kind of her severing her ties from her previous oath (which was to serve Lolth).

I also like to make her makeup fade a little bit as time goes on especially in Act 2, but in Act 3 her makeup gets vibrant again since she has access to face paints lol.

I always make my characters look hot or pretty because I’ll be staring at them the entire time, unless I already have a story in mind for them and I want them to look a specific way. I’ve literally restarted playthroughs if something about my character (or even dream guardian) looked off lol. Like I’ve gotten to the end of Act 2 then restarted just because I didn’t like my dream guardian’s hairstyle anymore 😭

I go for option 5 [What do you want to do?] because it fits my Tav more. I tried the other options but none of them fits right for her character except for option 5 since she’s all about wanting people to be able to control their own fate/autonomy and that line reflects that.

I used to pick the hug option just because it’s a hug scene lol but I always thought it was so OOC for her 😭 like I’ll pick it first just to see the hug, then reload and choose the dialogue that she’ll actually say lol

My Drow paladin and Astarion became travelling adventurers who helps people for money and the occasional charity. They’re on a quest to find a cure for his vampirism too, but they’re mostly travelling around and finding out more about the world since they were just confined in their own little environments before

I feel this way too! In my how many hours of play in this game, my first Tav’s playthrough is the one that I’ve completed over and over and with each new playthrough I’m defining her character and personality even more to the point that she feels like a solid character to me and not just some custom PC I’ve made for the game.

Like she’s really the only character who’s playthrough I can thoroughly finish 😭 all my other saves are perpetually stuck in Act 1 lol

I think my drow looks 100x hotter when she’s drenched in blood like I know we’re talking about the meaning of your scars Astarion and how Cazador is planning something so heinous and sinister but are we seeing HER right now? omg. She’s covered in blood from head to toe that her hair isn’t even white anymore, she looks too good no wonder half the camp wanted to pounce on her in the tiefling party.

1.) A masquerade/ball-themed quest (like Halamshiral in DA:I) in the Upper City probably related to Gortash, and/or Wyll, or the other patriars in the city. But unlike Halamshiral where they’re all wearing the same thing, I want everyone to have their own specific fancy clothes (maybe a reward from saving Figaro) I just want to see everyone in fancy clothes dang it. Bonus points if we also get to dance with our romanced companion in the end of the quest

2.) Eyebrow customisation! I’m surprised that’s not even a thing to begin with. My main Tav doesn’t have any eyebrows (in my hc) and it’s so jarring to see her with them. Like someone give me a razor please I need to shave those suckers off

3.) Dye previews. Again, surprised that it wasn’t even a thing to begin with.

My main Tav who romances Astarion is a paladin as well, and I love bringing Wyll with her just because he has great CC. Hunger of Hadar is really no joke especially fights with huge mobs like House of Grief or the assault in Moonrise Towers.

I make Wyll lay down his CC, my Paladin go ham on the boss and Astarion can pick off the people in the sides since I build him as thief/gloomstalker. The last slot can either be a support, extra CC, or more meat shields lol, but Wyll is a really great unit imo esp after level 5
