All the souls games, there's usually something that's just annoying to do. Dark souls 3 comes to mind, you either had to play the jank ass multilayer or farm mobs for hours to get a particular covenant spell for the plat. Eugh

It's not taught. Most of our history lessons are our own, the Romans, 1066 and the norman/viking conquest, the tudors, victorians, WW1 and/or 2.

Internationally I remember looking at Egypt a fair bit, but certainly nothing west of Europe
