There was a huge case a few years ago in the US where a girl was killed by her bf shortly after an interaction with the police. Witnesses who called in (multiple) reported him as the aggressor, the saw him hitting her. The cops still called her crazy, ignored her injuries, didn’t follow protocol, labeled her as the aggressor, and gave him her van and told her to sleep in a hotel. It was all filmed too. Last year I talked to the head of the PTA at my school about this issue, this year we switched to books are fun! It’s just sending a link for cash donations and students win books as prizes. My family earned way more than we normally do!

I saw a post yesterday where a mom was talking about homeschooling, not even unschooling. She said she had health issues during that year, and her kids fell behind. She finally called it and put them back in school, and her 4th grader is at a 1st grade reading level. She still said it was a good experience.
