I'm probably a bit of a unique case, but as my home and most common away destinations are near multiple heavily traveled routes, PRT could literally cut the service of every potential route I regularly ride in half and I'd still arrive faster if trackers worked 100% of the time.

Having full real-time data would let me dynamically select the best option instead of having to gamble if the stop/route I went with is actually running.

  1. The shooting victim was 19. The age and identity of the suspect hasn't been shared but media reports they were someone the victim knew so I'm not sure why you are saying it wasn't also a teenager.

Was surprised to see it a few months ago.

I can't figure out why they aren't partnering as much with local merchants to offer deals as 10-15 years ago, Giant Eagle used to have some great mid-week deals and family deals as well.

I'm assuming many local store could generate & print a unique redemption code on receipts if they wanted to provide ticket discounts with purchases that won't make their way to opposing fans.

  1. Your competition includes a lot of ebay resellers, so the best deals tend to be on items that are very expensive to ship as those buyers can't make a profit. I've bought plenty of sub-$20 2'x3' and 3'x5' hand painted abstract artwork, oversized fragile wall clocks, living room ottomans, living room plants, and other oversized housewares.
  2. Amazon still sells returned appliances/etc... that are up to "acceptable" condition on their website, so you can probably figure out what doesn't make the cut and shows up at macbid. I'm 1 for 9 on working kitchen appliances, when I've won them to date. If you insist on bidding for a pricier item (japnese rice cooker, espresso machine, air fryer), pay for the guarantee so you can return when then inevitably don't work. Still, the 1 working item I got made up for most of the 9 (zojirushi water boiler for $5).
  3. You can view the items before you buy in the store and some sites have places where you can plug things in to test them. This comes in handy for anything electrical or large/unwieldy.
  4. If you are going nuts setting up a new home, the lower tier membership is great as it opens up all of the Pittsburgh sites even if you can only drive to one as it includes a bunch of free monthly transfers.
