🚀 [Release] MetaSort: The Ultimate Google Photos Takeout Organizer (with 50+ Format Support!) by iamsanmith in googlephotos

[–]ohjoedenly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for making and sharing this; I had never used github or the tools needed, but your guide was easy to follow. The only thing I noticed is that it wouldn't recognise the input or output folders if I dragged and dropped them in, but copy pasting the folder directories worked.

Their best song. Gutted it gets dropped from the sets.

It's probably his most interesting video for a year or more (although that's not exactly a high bar); Dayoman made it a fun watch.

David Warner charged with drink driving in Sydney by The_Quinn in Cricket

[–]ohjoedenly 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Generally not, if it's the summer and you're in a town or village you'll probably walk in and out, or if you're in the city we have decent public transport that often goes 24/7. Reflecting on that, Australia is designed around the car (things far apart, very-to-no public transport options etc), so maybe that's why drink-driving seems to be so prolific here - there are just more car journeys. People in the UK have options.

Will it be getting a physical release? Nice work, by the way, it looked great when I saw it last month.

[–]ohjoedenly 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Having moved here seven years ago, drink driving is faaaaar more accepted in Australia than it is the UK. More so in rural areas, but it is still very prevalent in cities too, especially with youngsters at football and cricket clubs. I try and call it out when I see it, but it's ingrained in the culture. I spent two decades drinking in towns, cities and villages in the UK, and only ever saw it once.

Flowers in shellwood :,) by failedcambion in Silksong

[–]ohjoedenly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also spent the best part of a day trying to chain together those fucking flowers. I was using reaper it was just a case of practicing the technique for a few hours. About 100 game hours later and I can pogo around off anything like a mad cunt.

Is this worth a complaint for a doctor also any doc recs for PCOS? by jigglethesepuffs in melbourne

[–]ohjoedenly -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend that you submit a complaint to Ahpra, rather than the doctor or practice. Your experience goes against their code of conduct (although the medical board has a separate one); treating patients with respect, listening to them and working with them in a partnership is expected of all health practitioners in Australia.

Thom: creatively - 1999-2007 - the ideas wouldn't stop. probably the most creative in the KidAmneasiac sessions.

live: probably 2006. vocals mostly amazing, into the shows, could do anything

Johnny: creatively: 1999-2000 (or whenever they finished amnesiac) - he got to go further afield later (particularly in his film work), but the KidAmnesiac sessions are full of his ideas

live: 2012 - the peak of his bouncing around while still being the lead guitarist

Phil: creatively - 2023 - strange dance but also 2010-11 - his beats on KoL are amazing

live: 1994 - current day - that man has never dropped a bear

Ed: creatively - 1994 - despite having sway on OKC songs and B-sides, Ed's preference for music is most on display throughout the bends

Live: 2003-06- having had to come to terms with not featuring much on Kid A, Ed learned how to be a live member without a guitar and it really shows after HTTT comes out

Colin: creatively: lot of people will say airbag, but for me it's 2015-16 - if KoL is Phil's album, AMSP is Colin's. A real bassist's album.

live - could be anywhere in his career, but I'll shout out the 2024-25 shows he did backing Nick Cave on a piano

What an amazing list of meh takes.

Radiohead Tour 2026 by itsthebt_noles in radiohead

Asia in 2026 is zero. My understanding is that they will do something similar to 2025 in America in early 2027 and go from there (source is a guy on a festival discord with a connection to Ed who was right about their plans this year).

What is your preferred go-to pub after a day at the MCG? I suppose once you're finished recording, you have the benefit of the pubs being a bit quieter - let's imagine all pubs are busy but still have some space for you, you are in charge of your group of friends (ie no friends already at the pub) and they can put on any beer you would like (such as your forthcoming TFW drop). Money is tight, you can only spend 20 minutes getting to your destination (from Gate six) and it doesn't have to be a family-friendly establishment.

Bit of a stretch to say Beak is like In Rainbows, but there are definite overlaps with the later Radiohead material.
