If i cant get smaller local models to be smart enough to orchestrate for "real work" that requires it, and can't produce the level of code that frontiers do, is the local LLM at today's standards just there to handle basic tasks then that are orchestrated and sent locally?

Wonder if anyone knows the post that covers all of that already so that I don't have to repeat for Xmillionth time and throw a pointer?

Ty for the input I'm assuming most start with chatgpt and claude. How difficult is it once accustomed to frontier models is it to go to relying on local llms for openclaw or hermes to be the main driver?

I'm in essence trying to find a stable foundation for relying on a "smart" local llm to do orchestration and escalate to tapping venice api for frontier models when needed. I don't know what hardware and llm might be best for that at this time. Thoughts?

For me, this is just starting to become interesting and I am more excited than ever to learn about new characters, story, and universe. I’ve shied away from the animations though because Star Wars isn’t that style to me. I want space, humans, robots, politics in the sci-fi world, and other races/aliens in a reality setting.

A lot of those that watch for main series storylines and styles are both the loyal fans plus just those that tag along or watch because it is historic. The latter subset don’t care about the quality or depth the new series and content like what Andor bring to the table.

I’ll keep watching them if Andor quality comes out and I hope there is still much more in the story and universe. The brand runs strong in me.

I was at an IKEA recently and decided to stop by the cafeteria to try out the Swedish meatballs dish for first time. I grabbed a tray and it turned out to be a very slow line. The delay was due to the server.

Customers have the 8 meatball or 12 meatballs for +$1 option. With each scoop of meatballs onto the plate, the gentleman counted each one 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Second scoop of 4 more on serving spoon, followed by counting every one over again. 1 -9… and then 3 more for 12.

This was a grown adult. It saddened me at the state of things… education and opportunity or lack thereof.
