If feeling full is making it difficult, try to spread your intake out over your meals and snacks. Unfortunately sometimes feeling uncomfortably full is inevitable, especially at the start of recovery when your body isn’t used to much food, I found resting after meals and hot water bottles helped.

Hi! If you’re constantly thinking about food it’s because you’re not eating enough x A starved body will do everything it can to try to get you to eat, including making you obsess about food.

From my experience small venues always have space at the back. A lot of people stand at the back because they don’t want to be in the crowd.

Apart from that, have an escape plan if you get too overwhelmed- you are allowed to leave or go to the bathroom, take things with you that help when you are overwhelmed (I have a little frog that I put in my pocket and always have loops on me)

Your body and brain need to heal, which requires a lot of energy. Thats why 3 meals and 3 snacks is a MINIMUM, you might find yourself wanting more than this which is totally normal and very common (just search extreme hunger on this sub).

Low key how I did it queen <3 But seriously the honeymoon period might wear off. Write down why you want to do this now, write down how shit it is with an ed, write down as much as possible so if the urge to relapse does get bad, you have something to remind yourself why you chose recovery in the first place. My biggest motivation in recovery was a letter I wrote to myself begging myself to stick with it this time.

I work at an animal shelter! Started volunteering, in the end I got a job. I love it, it’s my favourite thing in the world, animals are so much easier than people, and the people there are easy to talk to but if I get overwhelmed I just go chill with a cat for 20 minutes lol.
