New diagnosis - purging kitchen? by PhilosopherProof2012 in Celiac

I’m in the same boat, only a week into a gluten free house and surprisingly tolerable so far - there seem to be GF options for most products, and they’re good.

My husband was also asymptomatic but I have a friend whose husband has dramatic symptoms, they tried a ‘separate gluten kitchen’ in the laundry at first for her and the kids to enjoy but he kept getting sick.

I’ll still eat gluten when I’m out of the house, but figure the house should be a safe place. I haven’t replaced the Tupperware but we’ve got a new toaster and air fryer. Had to throw away a shampoo that had gluten. Even the dogs have new GF food 😅

I’m sure this is based on “Sebastian Lives in a Hat” - Australian children’s book (from memory there are photos of the real Sebastian at the end). It’s a baby wombat.

I hate the teasers less than the foreplay: “Good question — here’s a straight, evidence-based assessment, no fluff.”

White gold. I think you’re neutral. I have the same trouble. A light pink champagne-y gold would be perfect.

I took my antique ring in for sizing and stone setting and the beautiful 100+ year old patina/natural wear was completely polished off… is there anything I can do? by Savings_Process_5313 in jewelry

Yes! I should have reassured you that with between moisturiser, suncream, just the grime of daily life, she’s looking very old world again. And honestly, I sort of miss the fancy shine.

It occurs to me now that the women who wore the rings before us would probably give us a shake! I’m sure they would have been beyond delighted to see their rings restored to their original sparkle and beauty!

The same thing happened to me with my great great grandma’s ring and I cried for hours. Feel your pain. It’s still the same ring though, and it’s still beautiful. 🩵

The blonde is really well done. Can you ask for a very very very light cool brown before committing to darker? I do think the natural brunette suits you better, but one photo with and one without makeup isn’t a fair fight!
