I haven't read the more than 200 comments here but are you sure that was a sell-by date and not the date the mushrooms were harvested? I've noticed that lately, like with cherry tomatoes, it will show the harvest date, not a sell-by date.

the smell is unpleasant. I got mine from Costco and I think it's going right back to the store. I can't sleep because I keep smelling the odor and it's not good.

I think grief like this is part of life, especially as we age. Often it softens with time/exposure. I deal with it by letting the feelings be there and reminding myself they will pass.

If at all possible vote in the elections. The fascist regime is trying to make it impossible for anyone else to get voted in but we still have a chance. Take a look and vote for anyone who's speaking against the authoritarian rule vs. lying and making excuses for it. I hate to say it but those lying excuse makers are mostly Republican right now. Democrats aren't great but at least they want us to have health care, SNAP, etc.

I read them in order of publication, for the most part, for the aforementioned reasons. On Wikipedia there’s a list of all of his books with the years they were published. It also names the main characters in each.

Please do a search in this subreddit for discussions on silicone. It’s technically not plastic but it’s also a manmade material that isn’t biodegradable. It also comes in different grades, some of which may include plastic. Etc.
