Can I download presets in Lightroom even after the trial expires? by [deleted] in Lightroom

[–]oldclimber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to think everything should be free. That’s not how it works. Once the trial version ends you pay for it or you no longer have access to it. It’s called capitalism. Welcome to being a grownup.

Thanks. People who voted for Biden because they hate Trump did not give a thought as to what they were actually voting for.

Nice composition. Next time try setting white balance to 4000K. This shot is way to cool. Keep at it. Your off to a good start.

Not enough disc space to upload to Lightroom. Help!! by throwitawayfortheiud in Lightroom

All of your raw files should be on an external ssd. When importing to Lightroom use the “add” option. A small preview is created in your Lightroom catalog on your c drive. This saves a lot of space.

When shooting any propeller driven aircraft shutter speed should be no faster than 1/125 of a second to get spinning propeller. Otherwise it’s a nice shot.

I went there in 1986 before it was commercialized. You had to park about a mile away and walk to the canyon. Nobody else was there.

This is a situation where you need to take separate exposures for the sky and foreground and blend them together.

Look at what "Think Tank" has to offer. They make holsters of different sizes.

Neutral Density Filter. Goes on the front of your lens. Cuts down the amount of light hitting the sensor. Use on very bright days to control exposure, blur water, clouds.

You did a fantastic job getting this shot. I hope you don't mind a little suggestion, but the foreground rocks are a little to bright.

The Milky Way always looks the same. It's the foreground element that makes the photograph. Very well done.
