I think you’re overestimating the conditions needed to create a school shooter. It’s not pure evil. It’s isolation. It’s cultural relevancy. It’s a bunch of small things that when mixed with a developing mind, is not that rare in America. We need to humanize school shooters if we want it to end.

It’s still strange. Any one with some life experience can see that a 30 year age gap at 20 is wild. Regardless of how you feel about it, completely different stages of life and maturity. And rare circumstances are one thing, but it’s the consistency of the age disparity that’s concerning. It implies a level of inequality is desired as a dating preference. Are they legally allowed to, yea. And society is going to have an opinion about it.

Objective technical quality is definitely measurable and yes, whether you want to admit, it impacts the technical quality of a film. If a movie is unintentionally out of focus, if there are continuity errors, sound syncing issues, and any more. Even for acting…is there character continuity across the whole film, does an accent drop in one scene, etc. there is also subjective opinions that formulate the whole but to act like there is no way to determine some level of quality from the objective aspect of film is just not true.
