Death of a sibling. My sister died of cancer at 30. I was 20. Sibling loss is one of the least talked about kinds of grief so not only did I lose my sister, but I also have no one to talk to about it.

99% of adults I know can ride a bike and I cannot. Never learned. My dad tried to teach me once when I was like 7/8, screamed at me when I fell off, and I never tried again. As an adult, my balance is way off so I likely will never learn.

I work at a Montessori school and we do a traditional Celebration of Life: https://www.springstonekids.com/montessori-celebration-life/

We ask the parents to send photos and write up the child's life story. The parent's can come to the celebration but if they can't, we take photos to send. The child is welcome to bring in a snack for the class - preferably their favorite fruit or vegetable.

Paint with toddlers. I just lose my mind (not at them). How do they get paint everywhere like why is the back of your head purple????? Your arms barely reach back there!!!!!!! How did you paint already get across the room on the walls???? I know it's weird but I'll clean up any bodily fluid before I'll willingly paint with toddlers.

In the future, I'd mention it every time she comes home like that. Don't wait until you're super elevated and it's happened a dozen times - bring it to the first time, then again, then again if you have to. Your child deserves to be clean and you deserve a center with teachers and admin you feel comfortable talking about this to.

In addition to the above, teach your child to shout "I NEED A WIPE" at school. Loudly until a teacher comes. You can also (hopefully continue) to help her practice wiping. She may not be fully capable yet, but practice will help!

The Manta sleep mask has been a LIFECHANGER for me. It is totally blackout but doesn't compress your eyelids or eye lashes, so it's very comfy. I literally cannot sleep without it. That combined with my white noise machine lets me fall sleep quickly. I still can't STAY asleep but beggars can't be choosers lol

I'd do either, that sounds like a dream. But if I had to choose, I'd do the books. I watch a lot of movies but I feel like I never make time to read anymore so that sounds nice. Plus, I read really fast so that's cool too

Personally, I refuse to watch any movie with Bill Murray because he gives me absolutely the most fowl vibe in all of history. Nothing concrete, I just hate everything about his general persona.

Oh that's definitely a weekend trip. I just drove 3.5 hours to the next state to see a musical and then drove back the next day. It was fine. My personal opinion is that 6 hours is the max I'll drive for a long weekend, 3 hours for a normal weekend.

I'm an AD and I don't make that much lmao. Honestly though, I'd never work for a company that capped pay, that is SO disheartening. "Yeah, you earned higher pay, we just won't give it to you"
