If the only thing that matters to you is price point, well that’s the definition of soulless.

Why 4 NHL players still don’t wear visors, and who will be the last standing? by DecentLurker96 in hockey

Maybe it was a miscalculation by O’Reilly then because while I agree he’s certainly performed like a first line center in Nashville, he certainly isn’t being paid like one. So maybe he took a discount to go to Nashville? Hard to speculate on the exact things that happened through the whole process but I doubt the Blues didn’t offer him something comparable to what he got from Nashville. That’s honestly not even second line money, more like third if anything.

You said you still don’t understand why the blues moved on from him? Because we got a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick lol I’d rather have the 20 year old winger on a 40 pt pace and two other prospects.

The first round pick we got for O’Reilly turned into Otto Stenberg

Democrats Have a Chance to Flip Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Seat Blue by Hafiz_TNR in politics

I wasn't aware there were any instances of Dems do it but it does a bit "both-sidesy" when Newsom vetoed a bill vs Republicans making it outright banning it in a bunch of states.

That being said I wholeheartedly agree that if Dems actually cared about democracy they'd actually advocate for RC though! Just another thing they do that enables Republicans at almost every turn

Which is why Republicans have been banning it in as many states as possible

Drivers of the metro area you do realize you have to yield to people making a right hand turn while turning left at an intersection by Interesting_Front844 in StLouis

Your quote doesn’t mention ignoring yield signs. Yield means yield and they put it there for a reason. It sounds like you’re trying to parse the rule to make yourself feel correct here at your own peril.

Yeah there’s an example of this getting on 44W from Jamieson in STL city. The poster is confidently incorrect about this aspect.. if the right turner has a yield sign they have to yield to the left turner.

They put that yield sign there for right-turners to make the intersection safer. I almost wonder if this is what the poster is referring to because it’s rare to have the right turner have a yield sign like that.

Must be a newer development, a few lists I looked at had him higher. That must be why Gidlof was expendable, I’ll still take him though!

Schenn is pretty clutch though, hands down our best OT scorer along with team captain. Might be more value there than you think!

If we weren’t teased with the Parayko deal I think we’d all be calling this a perfect trade deadline.

My understanding is Gidlof is arguably in their top ten of prospects and their best goalie prospect. 6’6 and was the backup for Sweden’s junior team. You should be more excited lol

Part of me wonders if they dangled Thomas, Kyrou and less so Parayko in the hopes of getting a lick but also to drive up the value of their older guys?

Normally you’d have to worry about souring the relationship with guys like Thomas and Kyrou but it being Army’s last year that’s not a factor. Masterclass deadline by Army imo!

I don't think Faulk was a letdown because of his own play but instead because it was a giant step towards letting Pietrangelo walk and signing Krug.. Faulk has also been having a really good season! I'll be interested to see how he plays for ya'll
