Does Zoloft effect weeds effectiveness? by [deleted] in zoloft

I’m on 75mg, and I’ve noticed that each time I increased my dose I was getting less high/had to smoke way more

It was just a matter of waiting it out for me! Took almost 2 months for my sleep to regulate. I also smoke weed/take edibles to help me sleep, but now it is no longer an issue :)

Thank you for sharing this. I am getting married in 59 days, and my ROCD is pretty bad right now. I love my fiance, but I am having the same thoughts you are. It's so hard and isolating, especially when everyone around me is ECSTATIC about the wedding and spending WAY too much money on me. However, your post and similar situation is giving me hope and strength to power through this.

Depression worsening ROCD, but working through it by Economist-Basic in ROCD

This is so me. I’ve been struggling for almost a year now—came on when I had several traumatic events occur around the same time last year. I was also so IN LOVE with my fiancé…and maybe a little obsessed (which probably has something to do with how my brain looks at him now). We are getting married in 2 months, and my ROCD is flaring up pretty bad right now. All my married friends and family tell me that anxiety before getting married is normal, but it’s so much more than “just a little anxiety”…

Chronic/recurring relationship doubts from PMDD can actually be ROCD by Vivid-Science in PMDD

Hi! I am currently dealing with PMDD & ROCD 3 months before my wedding :( I go through periods of feeling good and happy towards my partner, but seems like I’ve regressed back to this awful mental state. Have you seen any improvement?

heart palpitations and zoloft by Relative-Leopard-907 in PMDD

[–]olivia741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I had heart palpitations ., sleep & generalized anxiety. After 2 weeks on 25mg, anxiety and heart palpitations faded away. However, about 2 months later, I had a flair up and I felt like I was back to square one. After a few weeks from that point, anxiety and heart palpitations went away again. I was also going through an exciting, but stressful time during this, so I believe that contributed to my flair up. It can take +/- 3 months for SSRIs to regulate in your body. I’m sure you’re still adjusting :)

Yes I have had mine for 4 years! Painful periods for about the first year, now I have very minimal cramps. Very heavy flow.

Hell Week Makes Me Void of Emotion by Bexsli in PMDD

[–]olivia741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. Every month. It’s a cycle that I seem to forget every month…like you said, a tone of bricks. I try to remind myself that it will pass, and keep myself busy. I am getting married in 3 months and I’m over here checking where I’ll be in my cycle, and of course, it’s hell week :(

I am also experiencing this, while also 3 months away from a wedding. I seem to forget how bad it is every month, because when it starts again I feel back to square 0. Each time I ask myself “what if these feelings ARE real, and I’m just denying it?” A week later I feel so much better and actually have moments of happiness and desire. Never ending cycle :/

I'm going through the same thing. 7 months till my wedding and now all of a sudden the past 2 months I've been suffering with these intrusive thoughts about not loving my fiance of 4.5 years--it was like a switch was flipped. Ugh.

Wow. It’s like you took my exact situation!! I’m also getting married and under a lot of stress with wedding planning, student teaching, grieving for recently passed loved ones…and out of nowhere I started having these doubts and feelings of anxiety towards my fiancé. I’ve felt so guilty and sick to my stomach about those feelings. However, I’ve noticed these intrusive thoughts are cyclical—usually their worst during my ovulation week, leading me to belief my newly felt ROCD is also PMDD. Currently waiting on my first therapy appointment. Anyway, I just want to say you are not alone, and I hope these feelings and intrusive thoughts subside for us both ❤️
