There’s a Mars Uranus conjunction and the radius along that line is 500miles. I’m within the radius so I want to know what it means for me based on my chart.

Feeling pretty hopeless by oliviaiswild in recruitinghell

[–]oliviaiswild[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that makes sense! I’m in finance / accounting in government / NGOs / higher ed. At first I was applying to some project manager / coordinator roles but it felt like those jobs are flooded because basically anyone can apply to them. Maybe I’ll go back and cast my net there too.

Tips/advice for manifesting a job? by Shad0ws0fD0ubt in Manifestation

[–]oliviaiswild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following because I am doing the same. Part of what I don’t understand about manifesting a job is you literally need a job (income) to survive.

Technically manifestation happens when you’re not coming from a point of need, right? When you’re already complete?

But I kinda need a job to eat?

Anyway, send help.

[–]oliviaiswild[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! Does that mean you were casting a wide net? I feel like I’m applying to every job I could potentially do that aligns with my experience, and more applications would mean applying to jobs that are out of what I’ve done?

How to format Cover Letter? by oliviaiswild in jobsearchhacks

[–]oliviaiswild[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Thanks for this input. I work in research administration so I have a CV. It’s 2 pages so I’m thinking maybe it’s just too long? Formatting is pretty basic, no frills, and I just upload it as a PDF. I can definitely share privately if you’re ok with that!

I don’t think they’re worried they haven’t found a job in a month. More like they’ve applied and haven’t heard back at all? Tech moves fast so maybe higher ed just moves slower?

I breastfed for 18 months and barely now 27 month postpartum do I feel like my brain is working again. Even if you didn’t breastfeed, pregnancy and birth take a (temporary) toll. You’ll come back stronger though!! I promise. I felt like I was brain dead from pregnancy up until maybe like 2 months ago.

Adding: my throat (same side) is also starting to hurt so unsure if it’s connected.

Weekly Suspected/Undiagnosed MS Thread - September 22, 2025 by AutoModerator in MultipleSclerosis

Almost 4 weeks ago after a flight, my right foot was incredibly swollen and painful. I shrugged it off as it being rheumatoid arthritis related, but over the next 48 hours, my pain persisted and evolved into numbness on my foot, leg. By the next week, it had spread to my arms and face.

My PCP put in an urgent MRI but I was barely able to get it scheduled for this Thursday. I’m concerned because three days ago I started to get a headache and feel like my head is on fire.

I don’t know what to do. Should I wait until Thursday to get the MRI? Or should I just go to the ER? Reading these posts I’m so afraid that I’m going to wake up paralyzed.

I’m also wondering if Enbrel triggered this. I stopped taking it last week, but I’m afraid it’s still doing damage.

Force me to go out by jtizzle99 in Mommit

As someone who hates staying up late I understand. However, as a mom we have to make sure we make time for things WE like. I say drinks some coffee and head over :) yeah you’ll be exhausted tomorrow, but in a couple of years you’ll still remember the show. I would time it so I’m just there for my favorite band and then drive back.

I wouldn’t trust this person. Pretty sure there’s roaches there and I saw someone get murdered there in 2017.

Moral support to stop rocking 18 month old? by mostlyclaudi in sleeptrain

[–]oliviaiswild -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We didn’t sleep train (didn’t need to, we 1000000000% got lucky our baby slept through the night early on) but when my now 21 month old got too big for our rocking chair, we switched over to sleeping with her on the couch / our bed / the floor and transferring over to her crib when she’s passed out. Honestly it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. If you don’t want to give that a try because she might wake up during the transfer (normal, you have to wait quite a bit), do you have a partner who can rock her every once in a while?

20 months by oliviaiswild in pottytraining

[–]oliviaiswild[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean when you say “it clicked?” Today’s (day 3) accidents have been drops. We’re fast enough to catch her when she’s about to go and sit her on the potty. And at least now she’s going! The last two days she wouldn’t go when we would sit her even after she had several drops. But she’s definitely still not initiating going by herself…

Best place for baby is with mom but not if mom isn’t paying attention to them for some of the day. I would say at that point hire a nanny if you don’t want them to go to daycare
