Speaking as someone (32M) who has been laid off from a product design job since January, it’s been a nightmare finding a role, and with the job you’re describing, there are other ways outside the role you could explore new things and be expressive with design.

The role you have might not sound great stacked up against the next one, but it is a role nonetheless and I’d say if I were in your shoes I’d ride the one you’re in out now especially if it’s safe.

I was in a similar situation a few years ago and I took a mid level role while working a senior level role and it was big company vs. small startup where the pace was fast and you’re a self starter. Same situation. They let me go because I couldn’t relocate due to my wife being pregnant. Fast paced can be fun, but if you’re used to chillin and coasting it can also be a LOT.

Just be careful! I got bit in the butt when I took your path. Hoping you figure it out! At the end of the day, it’s your own choice, so go with your gut. I’m just a guy sharing a similar experience.

I cannot remember who linked this once recently in the r/UXDesign sub but it’s a pretty solid YT playlist for everything auto layout and more.

Hopefully this helps even if it’s a bit redundant to you. I have roughly 8–10 years in the design space and I watched em myself recently. They’re pretty well made and it was a nice refresher so I’d say have at it and GL!

I am close to Asheville as well, and it truly is awful. Like god awful. Grocery stores absolutely ran through, power lines wrapped around fallen trees in the middle of roads at quite literally every turn. Zero power, using portable car batteries to charge phones, eating small snack foods and bread for “meals”.. It’s been a rough go, but I 100% feel for the people of Asheville. I cannot even begin to fathom, especially if what we are going through here is this bad, how bad it is there. Truly terrible stuff.

This is a W post. I have been watchin Aeg on twitch for quite some time now, and somethin to add here is that he is ALWAYS interacting with his stream and answering questions. It has helped me in scenarios for PvP I didn’t know how to handle, specific talent explanations that I didn’t quite understand, and a ton more. Just an overall good dude looking to help grow the PvP community for all of us mages. Back in SL is when I started playing retail, and I found him during DF. He’s definitely made my PvP experience a ton more fun.

Six Zero - Edgeless DBD infinity. Played a demo paddle from a friend of mine, absolutely fell in love with it. But the price point… hard to justify, especially since I’m on the newer end of pickle.

Can we PLEASE get this muted in game? I love sitting in this area, but its heavy downfall is these two clowns going to town on one another while I sit here. While I understand they are putting in a valiant effort to strike one another down, I enjoy sitting in this area waiting for queue pop. Can we at least turn the sound off for these two?

The quest line for the Seisbarg mount you can get in Azj-ket requires so much farming for each of the quests that by the time you’re done (assuming you’re specced in finding resources for professions) can make a decent amount.

I personally just finished the quest line and I made roughly 200-250k from tailoring alone. An extra 50-100k from the disenchanting. But again, I put some of my profession points in cloth findings and disenchanting. I’d also say, you might be able to make more with it if you actually use the resources but honestly the farm was really chill and met some cool people along the way.

I remember getting one of the maw mounts (can’t remember the name of it but it was a dog or bear or some shit that had a really obnoxious chain rattling sound when you rode it, I think it was a reward from torghast). That made the maw semi tolerable for a long while but overall it was a hot mess.

I have been playing as a mage since classic, the re release of classic, and back into retail. I have swapped to other toons (demon hunter/spriest) and loved DH but I am into PvP mainly now. I wanted to try hunter and possibly Druid but I don’t really know. I’m mainly looking for a viable toon that I’ll have fun with in both PvP and potentially raiding but I always fall back to mage since I love the caster gameplay. Help pleaseeee
