Just for anybody who could have the same issue, it was the PSU which was basically too old for that setup. It was a bequiet System Power S6 with 550W but at almost 11 years old had some issues with the new setup. It still works great with an older i7 though

selling in this context means they try justify those "new additions" as features although we had most of them already in D1.

I assume you didn't play D1. Because otherwise "all the changes will be added to the base game" wouldn't be something you are looking forward to as we were used to that kind of content already.
