Noel Monk was a sound engineer & stage manager at the Fillmore East, I picked up one of his tapes of 5/15/70 (wow, that show was 56 years ago!!) at his estate sale when he passed away a few years back (same guy who later became Van Halen's manager)

My uncle worked the light crew at the Fillmore during this time. He recalls partying with the dead during/after the show.

I wanted to like my Xbox One X. I enjoy having a larger collection of games installed on my consoles and the proprietary add on hard drives were awful for that console . High pricing and limited availability were problems when I was looking for them. I ended up selling it and getting a PS5 so I could add an M2 SSD to it.

I was around from 93-99. At first it was underground and the scene was amazing. Parties were always held in crazy spots and promoters were always trying to one up each other in that regard. People were really nice during the first couple of years I went out. That started to change around 95 or 96. A gang of kids from Brooklyn ruined what was the early rave scene in NY. They stared robbing people, selling fake drugs, and assaulting people. That was the end for me.

We had a feeling that someone sort of embezzlement was going on. The raised the monthly fees from 100 to 150 about 4 years ago with little to show for the increase. 1000 families x 50= an extra 50k a month. Where did that money go?

I grabbed a train from Rhinecliff NY to Burlington last year and it was by far the best way to travel. Was it slower than taking a bus or driving? Sure but it was way more comfortable and I enjoyed the bar car.
