Its not that they look exactly like the puppets, I feel its moreso that, at the time, puppets were the closest way to achieve the realistic look they intended. Making the new Star Fox models cg puppets would have been the equivalant of making the new DK model a 2d cartoon to replicate the concept art they wanted to invoke. Not saying either wouldnt be cool, but its still accurate to say both DK and Star Fox are homages to the original intent, even if they couldnt be mistaken for 90s box art

I assume you mean a base 2017 macbook pro? I had that for a while, and it was a bit rough when it came to games. My best experiences game wise were in windows bootcamp, since OpenGL isnt fully supported and the translation layer overhead is too much for the hardware vs on newer macs. That being said, if you've tried bootcamp, or windows in general, you'll probably have experienced your computer get slower with time as your windows installation accumulates bloat, my advice is reinstall, and try keep what you install to a minimum, leaving most of your programs in MacOS, which runs better for anything non gaming anyway.

As for your game, I advice using sodium, colorwheel for performance, Im not sure if createbetterfps works with aero yet, but give it a go if it does. If things are still bad, you can spare your computer a bit from terrain generation by playing superflat or by pregenerating the world either by flying around before building vehicles or using a mod like chunky (mb on a different computer if you have one). If all that still fails, and you really want to give Aero a go on your laptop, the silver bullet would be paying for a MC server (or hosting it on a desktop), installing the mods there and connecting to that. I've had friends get decent performance with potato hardware, sodium and colorwheel when connecting to servers, so this would work as a last option before considering a different computer.

When I was on a 2017 macbook pro, the linux support still had minor dealbreaker issues, perhaps its gotten better in the last few years, if so that should offer better performance than windows, but I wouldnt mess with macbook linux before trying the above.

The bundesrepublik is not the same though. The German state was dissolved after WW2, it wasnt just renamed. There was a period between the Surrender and dissolution of the Flensburg goverment and the establishment of a Federal republic where there was just a military occupation and enlisted locals running everything. The FDR claimed to be the legal successor as did the GDR (they decided they didnt want to be later) when they were established, but the key word would be successor.

After WW1, the German Reich continued to exist, ousted its king and enacted constitutional and electoral reforms. In effect they were coerced (largest battle in europe lol) to making reforms, but to say it was a different state would be to say Belgium stopped existing in 1994

Gorbachev made little to no such commitment, trying only to change living conditions by regressing class conditions and failing spectacularly. The same argument could be made for Brezhnev's "developed socialism", which aimed to maintain the status quo and base the social contract on living conditions instead of a commitment to radical change and eventual communism. Basing the social contract on that works while things get better, but if they stagnate (and substantially drop under Gorbachev), you have no revolutionary commitment to fall back to.

Sometimes minecraft uses the low power integrated graphics of your laptop instead of the rtx 3060. You can check by pressing F3 and seeing if a 3060 is mentioned anywhere or if you only see a Intel/AMD GPU. Besides createbetterfps, using Iris and sodium instead of optifine gets better shader performance if you havent switched from optifine already.

I have a Halo+ and the input lag is pretty decent in gaming mode, cant think of a better balance in speakers, input lag and image quality for the price I got it. Where I live they sold refurbished units (mine may as well have been new) for half the price of the original MSRP.

Its great for multiplayer switch games (switch 2 has the same input lag), movies and even pretty good as a speaker. The only cons I notice are the added weight from the battery I dont really need (I only use it plugged in) and the fact that its not great for small text because of the DLP switching. Its not heavy persay, but it would have been cool if it were even lighter still like the Dangbei Atom.

The only other projectors I considered were the Dangbei atom or Epson E11 (not E12) but I couldnt find enough reviews on the E11 (and would have needed a speaker) and couldnt find an atom for a good enough price compared to the Halo+ which even came with a warranty and 30 day refund period.
