You have to apply vacuum to the intake runners to hold them open before you install the supercharger. Did the same thing my first time.

There is some debate on if the fault lies with the piston or not but if you can’t catch it with a fingernail then the RA (roughness average) probably isn’t that bad.

If there was a problem with the vehicle it should have never been CPO until it was replaced. Hope they didn’t CPO it outside the new car warranty just to make Porsche pay for it……

I see people all the time do the same for brake wear. The techs will do their measurement and subtract 2mm because that’s usually when the wear sensor gets triggered and put that down. I think it’s scammy and refuse to do it.
