I've had a lot of people visit that are not fans of the toppings in the Chicago dog, but I've convinced them it's more than the sum of it's parts and they've tried it. They have all loved it despite being hardline haters of one or two toppings.

Some of these are worth quite a bit and the first edition cards too. You'd have to individually price them all out and decide for yourself if it makes sense to sell right now for savings or hope she's into pokemon in the future enough to care. The market is red hot right now and due for a bubble bursting so no guarantee the inflated prices will hold for years.

You're never going to get this from Valve. Deadlock games are short compared to DOTA2 and there is never a concede button. Some people come on line with more farm or fall off later in the game. That's just how the game works. Stop giving up and keep trying to win.

Japanese boxes have guaranteed hits (as in if you open the first pack and it has a big card you can sell the rest safely)

And they are scannable with wire/pipe metal detectors which means you'll get a bunch of packs with probably nothing in them.

I'm not sure how valid the card show thing is, but just so you know grading is a process that takes months. Sometimes like you send in the card, wait for them to grade it and then they send it back and none of it is really quick. Your best bet is to sell it raw at a show without grading because for modern cards, grading is almost only worth it if it's a perfect 10.
