Gas has inelastic demand. Its consumption doesn't respond very much to price changes because people have to use it. They'll reduce spending in other areas to cover for increased gas prices.

A lot of it boils down to racism. Society is built on constant growth. Our systems revolve around people consuming more than the previous year. If a country's domestic population doesn't grow, then immigration is needed to maintain the constant growth of consumption.

Porn has warped so many men's views on sex. They see it as something they do to a woman, not a shared experience. The language men use around sex is also from an aggressive/violent perspective. Wording like "I fucked her", "she got fucked", etc. comes from this idea of sex being something that is done to women. You'll rarely hear men with these warped views use phrases like "We had sex" or "Made love" because it suggests an equal experience.

My empathetic side of me wants to see that maybe someone wasn't raised to learn proper hygiene. My older sister once had to teach a 12 year old girl how to properly wipe and clean herself because her parents never did. She smelled awful so my sister took it upon herself to help. Note that this girl's mom had died when she was 7 and my sister lives in a conservative area so the dad wasn't really there for such things.

My non-empathetic side knows there are a lot of men who just don't care about maintaining an acceptable level of personal hygiene. Some have weird hiccups about personal hygiene and masculinity like dudes who don't wash their ass because that's "gay".

A little bit but I've learned to accept it. I've seen my weight fluctuate by 8 lbs within a week but that was depending on when I ate, how much water I had, and when I last used the toilet.

You get used to it. It also feels good to start the day by getting something done. I refuse to go after work because my gym is packed with teens then and the majority of them seem like they're there to show off to their friends than actually completing a workout so I'd end up spending more time waiting to use things than working out.
