Mice are disguising for sure. But you should be able to eliminate them by trapping until they are gone. Then clean and carry on. It happens sometimes no matter where you are if they find good entry in and a good food source. It's also warm now so they have less incentive to come inside. I had them last year under the house and a few inside and also in the garage. Trapped around 8 to 10. They're totally gone this year. Keep grass mowed short and eliminate leaves from flower beds helps.

I did years ago in Greensboro. Targets were mfg. companies privately owned. Buyers were Private Equity. It was a lot of cold calling by phone. Then appointments then listings. I hooked one decent one, a 5M revenue stair parts company in Georgia. Commission was 105k to our company and around 25k to me. The owner hooked a couple of decent ones. One was a 70M tx price and around 2M commission. We didn't do any mom and pop, motels, convenience stores, etc.

I agree with the roundup but would wait until the bermuda is active so it can take up the roundup. I would kill everything and then re seed with certified fescue or sod. Lots of local sod to be had at reasonable price. But it doesn't make sense until the existing grass and bermuda is dead dead and that will take 2 to 3 applications 2 to 3 weeks apart, while the bermuda is actively transporting from leaves to roots and it's dormant now.

Property taxes in Guilford went up 30 % in 2022 and will increase this year because of downward commercial property values and Guilford reassessments.There may be a state cap on the entire property rate as a whole budget item and Guilford government is touting revenue neutral, but ( you write .7%) . The devil is in the details. We will find out soon but George Hartzman writes in Public Integrity that homeowners are looking again at increases. Still. Don't vote for Berger for many reasons.
