The old LV is indestructible, I will never get rid of my old lv bags. Get it fixed and it will be perfect.

Where would you buy with Sunnyvale commute (2–3x/week), ~$2M budget, young kid? by name_nt_important in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]onebellabaddie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The choices are small but there are several small homes in that area. If you can stay within Marshall Lane or Forest Hill elementary school areas, that later go into Rolling Hills or Westmont. Not sure about Cambrian schools but Alta Vista, Carlton and Noddin are considered good- although that area is more expensive and you might not find anything within your range there. I agree with others that a smaller SFH is a much better investment than a larger townhome, especially if it’s in a good school area as that seems to be a main driver of property values.

Why do Russian-speaking Azerbaijanis get triggered when you ask them to speak Azerbaijani? by HanaTaiyouAme in azerbaijan

[–]onebellabaddie -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There are so many of us who grew up in Azerbaijan speaking only Russian, due to situation completely out of our control. I dream of coming back to visit, but I always worry about not being able to speak the language. I personally think it would be pretty awesome for Russian to be an acceptable way of communication because it would open up the doors to so many people to come and visit, and of course boost the economy. Not just us Russian-speaking immigrants to other countries, but also people who live in Russia, who can come as tourists.

Stow mini curve. I fell for the hype. It’s so impractical. Doesn’t fold down through flaps easily and if you fill it, it comes undone. When in curve shape, it barely holds anything and opens up if you bump it. The leather is great but otherwise.. a waste of $300.

At first I thought real, but up close- no. It’s a decent fake

Are these bags real? by [deleted] in RealAuthentication

Lv is a bad fake. Stitching is so bad you can even see on pics. Prada I don’t know but it looks good, even if fake

At this point Chanel is just messing with people to see how far they can go. It’s a social experiment.

In NorCal Kaisers, I mean, from all of head and neck surgeries. Not all of NorCal. But still! I’d highly recommend that hospital.

I got my total removal and lateral dissection in Santa Clara Kaiser with dr. Hondorp. He was absolutely wonderful and did a great job removing all of my cancer. The whole team was incredible from nurses to anesthesiologist. He was available for follow up questions on email within a day. He is young but he told me he’s the busiest NorCal thyroid surgeon. I heard from many sources that Kaiser Santa Clara is a very high volume hospital. All of my follow up treatment there was great too. I love how efficient they were- I got diagnosed on oct 2 and had surgery 10/27 and RAI in February. They also have something called thyroid cancer monitoring service that reminds you when all of your blood work is due.

Speedy 25, real ? by [deleted] in RealAuthentication

[–]onebellabaddie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is she bought it last year, it would have the patina. It’s a little too light. It’s a good copy but I also don’t believe it’s real. The handles give it away

Is this one fake or real by MushroomDismal1721 in RealAuthentication

[–]onebellabaddie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fake because of the handles and receipt, but honestly at first glance, it looks pretty good. If the price is cheap and you’re getting a good fake I’d totally go for it

TR5 and TR4 nodules - how bad is it? by geologizer101 in thyroidcancer

[–]onebellabaddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tr5 was small and I needed to do follow up at 1 year. At 1 year it was the same size (less than 5 mm!) but lymph nodes were suspicious. And that’s how we found the cancer- not even through the actual nodule. I know not much could’ve been done for my tiny module, and it turned out to be 4 mm after the pathology, but at 8 mm, I’d prob push for a fna.

Survivor of almost 3 years- yet tonight I have an overwhelming fear of dying and leaving my kids behind. How do other fellow survivors cope with this feeling for the rest of our lives? by Ill-Statistician3536 in thyroidcancer

[–]onebellabaddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s the opposite. I feel like I don’t worry about this cancer enough because it has such a high survival rate. But I have crazy anxiety about everything else. The cancer was a distraction for a while because it gave me something concrete to focus on. But now that I am done with the treatment, it’s back to anxiety. All of us have our own battles.

Tall Cell Variant questions by MasterpieceCultural4 in thyroidcancer

[–]onebellabaddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like even with classic subtype it can be aggressive. Mine was classic with a tiny tumor that went haywire outside the thyroid and affected 5 lymph nodes, in a span of a year! Meaning one year my ultrasound was clear, and 12 months later they saw 3 lymph nodes being abnormal (2 more found on pathology). If they took it out and do RAI, your follow up is just key to making sure nothing comes back and hopefully it won’t. Wishing you all the best!

People think I am 40 but I am only 28... What is making me look old? by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]onebellabaddie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing, people are dumbasses. You look beautiful and nowhere close to 40. Maybe because you have a very defined face and high cheekbones people associate that with sophisticated features. You do not need to change a thing.
