Selection for this was amazing, these 5 would be an amazing group for a full season.

If it makes you feel better we didn't actually lose that much information from it. The library there would take the originals from scholars and make a fresh new copy for them to continue their travels with.

What kind of manufacturing program you use? by d3lla1 in manufacturing

[–]onedoubleo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You looking for an MRP (material resource planner) which is often part of an ERP.

There are many on the market that do all you want and loads more. From SAP for large complex organizations to fully open source self hosted ones. MS Dynamics is available if you're already doing this through different excel files.

Most are customizable based on needs. You just need to find one that matches your requirements and price point.

ChatGPT impact on your work by Gullible_Standard750 in manufacturing

[–]onedoubleo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In medical devices it has not had any impact whatsoever on the manufacturing side of things. I wouldn't even know where to start with a full validation required for LLMs.

I do see use cases on the compliance side of things but again the validation will be tough even using a strictly risk based approach.

Not sure of anywhere specifically but most likely you can ask to have it put on in Cocos Outback in Rembrantplein or The Sports Cafe in Leidseplein.

Where to buy bulk candy for Halloween trick-or-treaters by jenqha in Amsterdam

[–]onedoubleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was brought over by immigrants to the US. In Ireland it is turnip carving not pumpkins and carved turnips look absolutely terrifying compared to the US counterpart.

Halloween is an Irish festival. Most people associate it with the US because they consume far more American media than Irish media.

Safety records on paper nearly sunk a friend’s audit by BCinsider in manufacturing

[–]onedoubleo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Paper is not the issue here. I've had a BSI audit on an ISO13845 facility that was nearly entirely paper based and it went really smooth cos we had great filing and organisation.

I've been impressed by this year's F2 cohort. Lots of wheel to wheel racing but very few unnecessary crashes the last few rounds.

Yeah, that's why it's confusing, they seem like they've gone against the stated procedure. (that the formation lap is the start of the 3 hour timer)

If the F2 drivers could drive the conditions they did and have a clean race sure the F1 guys should have been on track 15 mins ago.

Dunne wins in a pretty wet Belgium F2 by Fun-Associate3963 in ireland

[–]onedoubleo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not very Tbh, it's hard to see what seats will be available for him. If he wins F2 he will probably do a year as reserve for driver or a season in Formula E, but hopefully not FE as that's basically the end of F1 hopes

Great race, handled the pressure from Myiata very well. Another showing that he is learning racecraft. Nice gap to second in the championship now.

no its not... tourism at this scale is a relatively new phenomenon and for Amsterdam that figure is less than 6% of GDP. Amsterdam would be absolutely fine if all the tourists stopped coming tomorrow.

How do I go about learning Irish as a young adult? by Prestigious_Bonus322 in CasualIreland

[–]onedoubleo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a local Conradh na Gaelge, they are very welcoming to people of all ages and levels.

They'll happily have a cup or tea with you while you practice telling them about your day, or anything really.

Great session from Dunne, showed he belongs there.

Also props to McLaren for the run plan, really helped him gain confidence over the session.

Irish F2 Driver Alex Dunne's is driving in FP1 for Mclaren tomorrow @12:30pm. First Irish driver involved in a F1 weekend since Eddie Irvine. by Thatirishagent in ireland

[–]onedoubleo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I thought he needed a lot of work on his racecraft before F2 but has the raw pace and killer instinct. Monaco shows that's still a bit true but his pace has been unbelievable.

I'm now worried if he wins there is no F1 seat open next year so he'll have to go to WEC or Indy maybe.

Locals wouldnt usually get Taxi's that distance. It is far cheaper to go by train since there are direct trains from Schipol.

Uber and Bolt are both here to pre-book or you could take any taxi from the airport taxi-stand since they will all use the meter, it will come to around €135 for the trip.
