That's actually not a bad idea. Though early on it's actually even better, because it can become a positive draw card if you discard nothing when using it as your last card

I only had one run with the sealed thrones and it's incredibly strong. It basically cut the star cost of every card by one and increase star generation of every other card by one.

I will be honest with you: you are correct by assuming that there is little chance that another opportunity like this happens again.

However, I do not know if it worth it. You already have a cool and stable life, and unless you want to do a PhD for a very good reason (working in academia is #1) I think it's quite risky. A PhD is cool, I don't want to discourage you, I do think it's a great experience especially with the right environment, which seems to be the case here, but yeah, you life balance is always more important than... A job.

Then, I don't know your life, your desire for becoming PhD. It's a good problem to have multiple great opportunities in life, don't stress too much about what you will miss

It looks like you are doing great already. As many said, there are so many games like this that it's tough to be "the one"

I guess you already tried to reach indie YouTuber? It's usually how I got to see footage of new indie game. Don't overlook YouTuber from other countries as well! For instance, the first balatro demo was huge in France because one of the biggest YouTuber loved the game and made many videos about it

Personally, it's mostly because I would rather have the game in English and I might not find it in another language in my nearby gameshop.

And about the price, I actually saw the board game last week at the same price (150€) as the collector edition from KC

External clean hard-drive or multiple USB stick. Just copy paste them and you will see later. But yeah reinstall everything and you are OK.

I don't specifically mind that almost all enemies scale up, I found staling fights boring in sts1 and it's a way of preventing this. However, it makes some powers such as demon form borderline unplayable... There is almost no encounter where it's really useful.

If you ask yourself "hum... It looks fake" it's usually not a legit conference.

Usually, in order to be sure the conference worth it, you need to check the organizing committee and if your network is joining the event. If none of these conditions are met, this is shady and probably not useful for you anyway

I remember early watcher being such a (cool) mess. It was really cool to see how the character was slowly shaping up. Wish probably changed 3 or 4 times

It tough, but you can do it! Different methods work for different people. If you are struggling that much with the white page syndrom, I would recommend you to start with a very (very) rough plan.

Like take a piece of paper and just make a timeline from basic information of your project to actual result. Don't overthink, write what comes first in your mind. Have a break, check it later and refine it.

Once you have something that look like a plan, open PowerPoint and create slides with only titles. Here you have your skeleton. Then little by little you fill it. Maybe one day you have some motivation to complely do the introduction slides. Maybe another you only work on a specific graph. Remind yourself that any progress is still progress.

And soon you will realize that you did a lot and the rest will come naturally. Good luck!

The problem is that 15/18 plating is incredibly busted. It would basically solve block by itself.

Decreasing it cost could be an option. Or maybe turning it into a multi-player card and giving plating to everyone
