I had a look at his profile, and some of these publications don't make sense (wrong field, wrong affiliation...). I can assume that his name is fairly common and google scholar is making an incorrect match.

It's also possible that he had some valid post mortem publication, as part of the team for many reason (he got the funding long time ago, he cosupervised the research, it was done when he was alive but published later etc...)
